I may be a tad out of my element here, but isn't a little foolish to try to guess who would win a pro wrestling match? The answer is: whoever the script says. It isn't like we can asses their skill level and talent and know who will win.
Unless you are more or less just trying to gauge which would be better from a marketing perspective or something. And I'm sure I'm coming off as a jerk, but I don't mean it that way.
Seems like trying to make predictions before watching a Rocky movie. The guy who wins is whomever is supposed to win in the script
I know that. But he beat Big Nog, not little Nog as hyped said.
"when you say that Henderson beat Lil Nog"
And I'm not splitting c*** hairs, there is a huge difference. A difference that means either beating a top 30 all time light heavyweight and a top 3 all time heavyweight.
Dan got on TRT in 2007, and he didn't leave the UFC until '09. And he left the UFC riding three straight wins; he was never released by the UFC. He was on the verge of another title shot when he left.
This is pure, unadulterated stupidity.
His only UFC losses in that run were unifying Pride and UFC belts against UFC Champions, and he had just beaten a top contender in Bisping when he left.
This guys timeline is so far off it isn't even funny. He was in the UFC when he got on TRT, and was never released but rather left for more money and bigger fights in strikeforce.
I can't believe you guys are humoring this nonsense.
I would agree, except there is a lot of emerging research suggesting that head trauma damaging the pituitary gland is causing a lot of these fighters to need TRT, not age or prior steroid use.
And Dan has taken a lot of head trauma in his career.
You neglect to mention the complete destruction that a healthy Shogun laid upon Forest.
Cavelcante is still better than Griffin and Irvin, whether he is a cheater or not.
Fedor was the best HW in the world when he beat Nog at Pride 25. UFC Champ then (3/16/03)? Tim Sylvia. Argue for me why he is better than Nog or Fedor, please.
More of your crazy Pride drivel.
Yeah, and Dan chose to fight Fedor, Shields, Palhares and Shogun; Anderson fought "next in line" and beat Patrick Cote, Thales Leites and Demien Maia. Not the same level of comp.
Shields is not a natural WW, and he was cutting from over 210 when he fought Dan at 185. He was bigger than Dan in that fight.
Yeah, and what most people don't remember is that was a very competitive bout before that incredible finish. Anderson got taken down and swept by Chonan, and Ryu was landing some wicked ground and pound from in his guard.
Bas and Mauro both said that Conan was on his way to a decision win when the flying heel hook came.
"Lesnar deserved to be champ...he fought the very best and won.... people who say he didn't deserve what he earned are simply haters like you.... end of arguement "
Shortly before, after I made the loki joke, from Nerbs account:

The way it was commenting it has to be someone who follows the MMA boards. At one point it called me a meathead, so I made a joke that it was loki, then it replied in Loki format, separating sentences as both you and nerb with the ......
Has to either be loki or someone who follows the forums really closely.

And he passed his pre fight tests, albeit under strange circumstances.

I that was actually a fine punishment.
Jim knows his stuff on the TRT issue.
And Dan has taken a lot of head trauma in his career.

I almost agree with you about the TRT. Almost.

The Royce of UFC 1 loses to the Tito of UFC 25.
But, the Tito of UFC 13-24 loses to the Royce that dominated Yoshida at Shockwave 2003.
Waiting for final arguments, great TD fellas.
Making jokes about Jim drinking, calling me C, and the ........ puctuation when talking about Loki, as that is his trademark.
