I may be a tad out of my element here, but isn't a little foolish to try to guess who would win a pro wrestling match? The answer is: whoever the script says. It isn't like we can asses their skill level and talent and know who will win.

Unless you are more or less just trying to gauge which would be better from a marketing perspective or something. And I'm sure I'm coming off as a jerk, but I don't mean it that way.

Seems like trying to make predictions before watching a Rocky movie. The guy who wins is whomever is supposed to win in the script

This doesn't make any sense.

Dan got on TRT in 2007, and he didn't leave the UFC until '09. And he left the UFC riding three straight wins; he was never released by the UFC. He was on the verge of another title shot when he left.

This is pure, unadulterated stupidity.

His only UFC losses in that run were unifying Pride and UFC belts against UFC Champions, and he had just beaten a top contender in Bisping when he left.

This guys timeline is so far off it isn't even funny. He was in the UFC when he got on TRT, and was never released but rather left for more money and bigger fights in strikeforce.

I can't believe you guys are humoring this nonsense.

I would agree, except there is a lot of emerging research suggesting that head trauma damaging the pituitary gland is causing a lot of these fighters to need TRT, not age or prior steroid use.

And Dan has taken a lot of head trauma in his career.

Yeah, and Dan chose to fight Fedor, Shields, Palhares and Shogun; Anderson fought "next in line" and beat Patrick Cote, Thales Leites and Demien Maia. Not the same level of comp.

Shields is not a natural WW, and he was cutting from over 210 when he fought Dan at 185. He was bigger than Dan in that fight.
