Who do you think will have a better PRO career, I have heard of Tebow, but not about Luck (I am on E. Coast where you never hear much outside of USC). I do know that Tebow is a serious competitor.

there was also talk of moving them to the site of the Montgomery county dump in Rockville\Gaithersburg which is close to the Shady Grove metro and they have more than enough space (when the move the dump) for parking etc... It would be great for me, but I imagine VA people would not be to into it. Keeping it in DC would be best but the locals in DC do not want to pay for yet another stadium after paying for the NATS stadium.

Structurally it is falling apart and is very antiquated...Honestly in the next 5 years they may just condemn the place.

I am a Celtic fan (as well as a TERP fan so am a fan of EDU) and hate this type of crap. But the Rangers (protestant) v. Celtic (catholic) hatred seems to be instilled early and often since it has been going on for like a hundred years.

Maybe, just maybe he was not good enough his 10th grade year to make varsity...that is possible...and in his 10th grade year only a few people who time travel knew how great he became and I guess they did not tell the coach.

If he goes to the Jets he goes from a team that FINALLY has a QB to a team that doesn't have a QB (which is what he has been on for his career) so not sure he would want to do that. The Cowboys make sense, because they at least have talent (talented misfits, maybe, but talented nonetheless). Only problem with Dallas is can Romo actually stand tough or would he wilt under the pressure that would come from Ray.

In footbal sense his best bet is to stay, in $$$$ sense (or should it be cents) others can most likely offer him more coin.

Part of me thinks he signs with a team that is not even on the radar at this time...

Since when is it the HS coaches choice as to where the player goes? I would not want a kid that cannot make the decision on his own, but then again, what do I know.

A Caps fan here and I hope Sid gets back on the ice soon. I will not bash him, my assumption is he did not ask to become the face of the league nor do I think he particularly enjoys it. My only issue is I think the NHL needs to increase the visiblity of many other players in the league regardless of nationality, again though not Sid's doing but Bettman's marketing group.

I do think it is time for Therrien to go, last year he went far on the talent he had, but this year you don't have has much and it has exposed his coaching abilities.

Semin is a better player all around then Sid.

I am a Caps fan and have to disagree on Semin being better overall than Sid, Semin has probably the best stick skills in the league, but overall game I would give the nod to Sid...I think we all need to be thankful that we are getting to experience the talent that is out there whether it is Ovechkin, Crosby, Semin, or Malkin.

Ovechkin is a beast and I am dang glad we have him.

I am just glad neither of these guys are rotting away with the Lightning, Panthers, Thrashers, or Coyotes. (move some of these back to Hartford or Winnepeg)

Enjoy the game tonight, it will be sick....

It was a legal hit and just an unfortunate set of circumstances (a unperfect storm of coincidences) such as...Ovie's size, Heward turning back to OV to sustain hit with head down and angle in which he hit wall. It seems as if Ovie tried to move to the side at the end, which just happened to be where Heward was turning. Just a bad accident. I hope Heward is OK, I met him when he was with the Caps and he was really cool and offered to take a picture with my son (which meant the world to him). If he left his feet then you punish, but if he did not then you don't.

Go with Hill he ended well last year and the players seem to play better with him leading the way.

get the caps and pens back in the same division. having rivalries like that are great for hockey. i was at the last game of the season that they had to win to get in the playoffs and the place was electrifying. I hope the "rock the red" fervor sticks (although there will be a lull midseason if the skins make the playoffs....uhhhh never mind)
