Posted Friday June 22, 2012, About: Time to deal King Felix?
Seattle should trade Felix now while they can still get alot of value for him. All those innings are beginning to take their toll on him. His fastball velocity is way down this year and he's been getting lit up by bad teams all year long.
Posted Friday June 15, 2012, About: Olshey still doesn't 'get' Portland
Exactly!! Nothing was expected of Olshey in L.A. But now he's joined one of the NBA's most successful franchises and is expected to turn them into a contender again right away. People in Portland expect to win every year and when it doesn't happen the media and fans will turn on you and then GM's and coaches get fired. This kind of pressure doesn't exsist in places like N.Y or D.C because their fans almost expect them to lose every year and any winning season comes as a suprise to them.

I don't dislike the suns. I respect them and their history. But it gets annoying when all these fans of pathetic franchises(knicks first and foremost) come here and talk about how Nash would never go to Portland and Portland should realize that they have no chance to get Nash. How the f.uck do they know what Nash is thinking? From everything I've read Steve Nash really likes Portland and it's the closest NBA team to his hometown. But as a blazer fan I would prefer we not use our cap space to sign Nash. I just get tired of all the ignorant people on here assuming that a player like Nash only wants to play for their city and their team and would never choose to play for a small market team even if that team has a better shot at winning than their large market team.

You've proven many times with your comments that you don't know anything about the NBA. It's called retooling not rebuilding. Rich Cho got fired after 48 wins. Do you really think Paul Allen will accept a full rebuilding process? Not at this point. It's true the team is not looking for guys in their mid to upper 30's. They're looking for guys who are entering their primes. Not sure where you got the full rebuild mode from reading this article. But now you know the facts. Try to get it right next time moron.

I hope Phoenix uses all their cap room to resign Nash and Hill. They're just prolonging their misery and will be a bottom feeder in the western conference for many years. Phoenix should have started the rebuilding process after Stoudemire left.

He ain't going to N.Y either.
Posted Wednesday June 06, 2012, About: Count Nash chase out in Portland
Portland obviously doesn't want Nash anymore. But you N.Y panzees can keep dreaming too. Your knicks are the most pathetic franchise in pro sports.

Paul Allen was the owner when they made the finals in 1990 & 1992.
Posted Thursday May 17, 2012, About: Batum prepared to sign first good offer
It says in your profile that your a fan of the bobcats, bucks and hawks. And your here talking about how nobody wants to play for Portland? Really? The blazers have a bright future. Meanwhile the bucks and hawks have locked themselves into mediocrity for years to come thanks to the contracts of Monta Ellis and Joe Johnson. And don't even get me started on the bobcats. Your post shows that you know nothing about the NBA.
Posted Thursday May 17, 2012, About: Batum prepared to sign first good offer
Injuries have definitley set this team back. Most other franchises would have been crippled into a team like the hornets or wizards. But the blazers are like a cockroach. You can't kill them. They will keep coming back. I think Paul Allen and the rest of the front office deserves alot of credit for that.
Posted Thursday May 17, 2012, About: Batum prepared to sign first good offer
I agree with you about Aaron Brooks. But there is no way that Gerald Wallace will be coming back to Portland.
Posted Thursday May 17, 2012, About: Batum prepared to sign first good offer
No. Karma would be overpaying for a guy based on potential and then seeing him never live up to that potential. Some of you morons talk like this guy is the next Durant. He's not. And he shouldn't be paid like he is.
Posted Thursday May 17, 2012, About: Batum prepared to sign first good offer
This is coming from a knicks fan? Your N.Y team is the biggest joke in NBA history. They play in the largest market and have more money than any other team yet they still have one of the worst winning % of all the 30 current NBA teams. They are even below the denver nuggets!! So you N.Y fans really shouldn't be talking trash about Portland. The blazers have been so much better than your team over the last 40 years.
Posted Thursday May 17, 2012, About: Batum prepared to sign first good offer
If some team believes that Batum is worth 12-13 mil per year then he won't be returning to Portland. The blazers shouldn't give that kind of money to a guy who averages 14 points and 4 rebounds. There are other SF's out there who can give you better numbers and won't cost near as much.

Posted Wednesday April 18, 2012, About: Buss had to convince Lakers to take Bynum
"DRUNKELI" and "I LOVE LA" are ****. They share an apartment together on Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood!!
Posted Friday April 13, 2012, About: Upheaval looms in Portland, Orlando, Washington ...
Portland, Orlando, Indiana and the lakers are bottom feeders? T'wolves fans must truly be dillusional. Minnesota has always been and will always be an NBA bottom feeder. As for Adelman it's really sad that his hall of fame credentials will take a hit because of this stint in Minnesota. He was a hall of fame coach in Portland and Sacramento. There was no reason for him to take the minnesota job at this point in his career.
Posted Friday April 06, 2012, About: Portland chasing big-name GMs, free agents
Cursed? Portland has been one of the most successful franchises in NBA history. Just look at their all time winning %. Only 5 franchises have a better winning % than Portland. And guess what. Miami isn't one of them. Neither is Chicago or New York or Philly. In fact Portland has spent years beating down your team in your own city. 18-5 all time in Miami. So once again these Miami heat fans have proved that they know nothing about the NBA or its history and are just a bunch of moronic bandwagon bootlickers.
Posted Monday March 12, 2012, About: Pineda's lack of velocity perplexes Yankees
I'm not saying Pineda is damaged goods. He could be a very good pitcher. But the mariners obviously saw something with him that gave them cause for concern. Maybe it was his performance in the 2nd half last year or the fact that his velocity started going down in late may. And when they saw an oppurtunity to get a young bat for him they jumped on it. The Cliff Lee trade was also motivated by the fact that Lee was unlikely to resign in Seattle. He never wanted to leave Philly and turned down the rangers better offer to resign with Philly.
Posted Monday March 12, 2012, About: Pineda's lack of velocity perplexes Yankees
They traded Cliff Lee for the same reason they traded Pineda. You can't win if you can't score runs. They have plenty of young pitching in their farm system but really no impact bats so it was a wise move. I think ESPN really overhyped Pineda last year and obviously the mariners thought so too.
Posted Monday March 12, 2012, About: Pineda's lack of velocity perplexes Yankees
I've been saying the same thing since the trade happened. The mariners wouldn't trade a possible future no. 1 to the yankees unless they knew something about him that the yankees didn't. It's starting to look like the yankees got played for fools. Meanwhile Montero has been crushing the ball this spring. It's still way too early to know who will ultimately win this deal. But right now it's looking pretty good for the mariners.
