The one thing about Gretz is that he played in a time when offenses were allowed to basically do whatever they wanted. Look at Espo and the fact he scored 76 in 70-71 and that had never been done and the next guy on the list not named Espo was Bobby Hull with 58.
Espo was 1.31 x the total of Hull and Gretz was only 1.21 x the total of Espo. One other thing to keep in mind is that a lot of records in hockey are "split" because of the time of the WHA which is another thing. If you add Gordie Howe's goals in the WHA and NHL, he is ahead of Gretz and Bobby Hull is as well.
When you start talking about playoff goals and assists, "back in the day", there weren't 16 wins needed to win the Cup, so any of those great players before don't even get into the conversation simply because they didn't play as many games.
I was thinking about just having 2 words in the TD of Frank McCourt, but then no one would take it.
Do you like duck tape? Have mysterious sisters? Fear terrorist geese?
He's a double-threat.
Good thing for them they don't have to worry about ever being in the playoffs.
Let's just say no one ever expected the Pats to do anything while he was QB, except for '76, when the Pats were the best team in the league.
I know who it is, I think.
Nick "Whiffer" Swisher.
He used to be Pope, you know.
Those were good times.

I go away and the place goes to crap.
This was a "go for it" year, and now they're tied to those contracts.
Oh, nevermind.
