1) Your team was led by SHANAHAN , a respected and once great coach that had began to burn out ( and unlike Cower ...sadly didnt read the writing on the wall ) .
His 3 year record was a mediocre 24-24
2) CUTLER ( The 2008 Broncs imature , cocktail-lovin' cry baby Qb ) performed badly down the stretch (2 tds in last 3 choke games ) AND led his team to a mediocre record ( 8 -8 ).
Now in 2009 :
1) Your team is led by McDaniels , an energetic first year coach ( who just happened to have worked in the leagues best football organization and learned from the NFLS 's current best coach ...not to mention helped create one of the great NFL Qb storys ( non -College starter Cassels amazing 2008 : 11-5 record , back to back 400 yard passing games ).
2 ) ORTON : New "air apparent" for Broncs , He may not be in Cutlers class , he may prove to be what Cutler is not ...a winner ( for that matter SIMMs may prove it as well ) . ORTON is a leader , a gamer , a winner ...Cutler is loser , a gunner , a winer .

The PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING ~ Here's the won / Loss records for the above :
Simms: 7-8 (.466)
Orton: 21-12 (.637)
Cutler: 17-20 (.459) ...in fact Shanahan's Broncs (24-24) did better when Cutler didnt play .

McDaniels coached his Qbs to a 3 year record of 39 - 9 ! ! !

If he could help turn Matt Cassel into a 400 yard a game passer . . . ORTON/ SIMMS are in good hands.

GIVE THIS NEW REGIME A CHANCE BEFORE COMDEMNING THEM !

( As long as they have paid their debt to society ~ they must deserve a 2nd chance too )
Though VICK 's deeds clearly didn't sink to the depraved level of the above ,
He did willfully torture & kill beings entrusted to him . Creatures that depended on him for protection & care .
And WHY did he do this ?
For his own enjoyment.
PERIOD .
He did MORE than just make a one -time mistake ~
He CHOSE a lifestyle , and now he must live with the consequences.
FACT IS ~ Playing in the NFL is a priveledge , not a right .
If 32 NFL Owners deem him a commodity NOT worth the trouble ...so be it .

FAVRE BASHERS : SHUT YOUR NO-NOTHIN' JEALOUS PIE HOLES ! We've all watched Favres competitive spirit for almost two decades now - Yet , I find it amazing that all the web bloggers & tv talkin' heads out there just can't seem to get it through their skulls that the guy just generally LOVES FOOTBALL ( Notice that none of the people who continually way in to say "FAVRE IS A SELFISH SAD SACK " have never actually played the game at a high level . . . and those that have understand who and what he is and sing his praises . WOULD FAVRE BE A TOP 10 NFL QB ? ....Probably not . But remember - he played pretty dang good last year under a new system until he got injured ( where are all the people calling out CARSON PALMER ~ MATT HASSELBECK ... who both played equally eractic when injured ? ) I for one "unfondly" remember the healthy Brett Favre leading the Jets to an impressive OT victory over the Pats last year .
BOTTOMLINE : He would easily be an upgrade over half the Qbs currently atop NFL depth charts and deserves a chance to compete .
