C'mon DJ. This guy is a joke and you're only beating him by 4 votes (ATM).
The Raiders WERE moving in the right direction. Then they fired their head coach. Let their unquestioned best player walk and their best Offensive weapon (Miller) go as well.
Now that teams are going to gameplan for Run-DMC, his production will go down significantly.
I might've respected the picks if you didn't have the season sweep on Denver. I also doubt a win vs. Minn and Detroit.
So... you hate the updated and stylish Broncos Uniforms that have an awesome logo to the boring and bland uni's that the Raiders have been slouching on forever? Mixed up you are me thinks.
Sorry, but even as a huge Denver fan, Dumervil doesn't make the Broncos anywhere in the same group of teams as the Bolts. The Chiefs will regress and the Bolts will have figured out the special teams issues and win the division. But, they are still relying on Mathews at RB, which is a mistake. They will choke in the playoffs. Better team with Smith? Yes. SB favorite? No.
While Newton is a risky pick, it has nothing to do with his physical stature. It's all mental. By that logic, most prospects are a risk. Julio has suspect hands and that 40 time is nullified in the NFL most of the time.
Conny, I believe you are confusing immobile with slow. While Brady, Manning, and Rivers are considered "slow" they are not immobile. They have insane pocket presence and move in small increments just enough to give themselves extra time. Mallet doesn't have that. I worry that he will be the "White Jamarcus Russell" in that Russell had the pocket presence of Helen Keller. I do agree that if Mallett can get over that, he can have a bright future.
I'm just happy to see my Rox getting some respect finally. Ubaldo goes down and they go 6-2... think about how scary it will be when he is back to full strength.
Agreed. Mostly because right said that they wouldn't go after Cam because he is too much like Young. But what he leaves out is that PHysically, Young is amazing. It's his head that isn't right.
You had me, even as a Broncos fan, until you said "Who would you rather have in the clutch?" refering to Favre in the Clutch. Thanks for the laugh though. 47 career comebacks compared to a guy that ended two NFC championship games with his INT. Favre is like "Big Game" Bob Stoops... gets credit for being clutch when he is simply not.
Rudy's best part wasn't even real. Joe Montana was on that team and he said that the scene where everyone put their jersey's on the coaches desk for Rudy... was made up! Plus, he said that they carried him off the field as a joke.
