This should be fun to watch and Notre Dame would run 60-65% on this game and pass 35-40%. However, this should be a good game to watch and observe how well the defense respond to the spread offense. Goo Notre Dame!!!

Just a thought, 49ers should try to get receiver Roy Williams from the LIONS who will be a freeagent after next season. Goo 49ers!!!

Well, I lost faith in Alex Smith and he is not the QB for San Francisco 49ers. However, I would trade Alex Smith for Brady Quinn and this guys is NFL ready. But, I still love the 49ers and Alex Smith is not the answer. Goo 49ers!!!

I would like for this guy to go to the 49ers and I am losing faith in Alex Smith. Well, I agree with you guys that many teams do need QBs.

No worries!! Notre Dame will be back in 2008 and 2007 lacked the experience on the offensive side of the ball. Weis used the freshmen and softmores to get the team ready for the 2008 season. Well, for one keep recruiting well Weis and make sure that these kids get the experience. Now, stick with one QB and work on the offensive side of the ball. Goo Notre Dame!!!

Notre Dame is doing the right thing and this kid has the talent and the size. Again, for any team to get to the Top they need to have a nice recruiting system for basketball, football, etc. In order for them to stay very competitive. Goo Notre Dame!!!

The true test for Weis is in 2008 season!!!
Posted Wednesday November 14, 2007, About: Weis sympathizes with senior
Well, this is the season of rebuilding and Weis is just giving the freshmen and softmores the experience. The recruiting is still the key to keep any sports to be more competitive from football, basketball, etc. I do not blame Weis for this season but due to Ty's recruiting class and that class never had the experience that they needed to step up sure we had #9, #40 and etc. but the other seniors that was there did not produce. Young offensive linemen that needed the experience. Jimmy finally see the light into how to perform as a QB in the college level. Winning season or losing season I still love Notre Dame Football. In order for a team to reach the next level there must go through some badtimes and this is one of them. The Stage is almost set and Notre Dame football will be back. Keep recruiting in the Top 10 and that is the key to get this team back to the top. It may look bad this season but the experience that the young players are getting would benefit next season. Goo Notre Dame!!!

The Irish will definitely be back in 2008 and the 2007 is all about getting the experience and who is really there to play. The freshmen and softmores are all getting some good experience either win or lose. The future looks good in the future and you guys can say whatever you want. Just as long the recruiting at Notre Dame has improved in the last couple of years. Notre Dame actually recruited the position they were lacking in the last decade and that is the Defensive Tackle position and Weis was able to recruit these guys along with two other defensive end. Now they have a go to reciever and a running back that play. Just as long Notre Dame can recruit the way they did in the last couple of years since Weis take over ND. They will be back and every team that is always at the top needs to have good recruiting and how you groom these players to become an impact player. 1-7 or no win at all I still Love Notre Dame!! The Irish are back and the true test for Weis is in 2008 and they are definitely back and that starts in Recruiting, gaining experience either win or lose, and that is the preperation for next year. Goo Notre Dame!!!

Hello guys here is Irish recruit #21

Rivals.com is reporting that Detroit tailback Jonas Gray, who up until this past weekend was verbally committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers, gave a verbal commitment to Notre Dame on Monday night. The 5???10???, 213-lb. Gray is a four-star recruit on both Rivals and Scout, and has been clocked under 4.4 seconds in a 40-yard sprint. He is the 21st player overall to commit to Notre Dame???s 2008 recruiting class, and the first running back.

Gray was recruited by several top programs, including Nebraska and Michigan, early in the year, and he made a verbal commitment to Nebraska in early August. There were reports that Notre Dame had planned to extend him an official offer earlier in the year, but it never came to fruition. Then, after Nebraska followed up a strong start to their season with a five-game slide that included blowout losses to USC, Missouri, and Oklahoma State, as well as startlingly narrow wins over Ball State and Iowa State, and rumors began to surface that Nebraska head coach Bill Callahan might be on the hot seat, Gray - together with decommitted offensive lineman Trevor Robinson and linebacker Will Compton, who I believe is still officially committed to Nebraska - was one of three Nebraska recruits to attend Notre Dame???s game last Saturday against USC. The Irish lost that game, of course, but something must have been going well on the sidelines, as superstar wide receiver Michael Floyd committed shortly thereafter, and Gray???s commitment followed quickly upon his. (South Carolina offensive lineman Kenneth Page was reported to have been so excited about his official visit that same weekend that he nearly committed on the spot, but he is currently holding off on his final decision.)

Nicely Done!!! We have a 6'3 and 6'4 wide receiver coming 2008 season. Again, 2008 will be the year that Weis would be truely tested and no more Ty guys. Finally getting the Defensive Tackles that the Irish needed and lacking for over a decade. The experience that the Freshmen and Softmore are getting would only make them much better in 2008 season. It takes time to build a team and Weis is doing just fine and this season is the rocky road due to the lack of experience in the offensive side of the ball and the record shows it. I still love Notre Dame!!! Goo Notre Dame!!!
Posted Sunday October 21, 2007, About: ISharpley to keep Irish QB job
The Irish lack the experience on the offensive side and the Offensive line needs a lot of work. The guys on the offensive line does not have the experience. Same goes at the Quarterback position. Brady Quinn is a big shoe to fill in. With the #1 Recruiting coming this 2008 season will definately help. I am looking and waiting for the QB Crist and see how he does. By the way we have some good Defensive line men coming in five of them. Defensive Tackles that Notre Dame never had in a decade. Weis is giving both QB the experience that both never had even though if it is a loss or a win. Along with the offensive linemen. Notre Dame will be back and the true test for Weis is in 2008 because these will be all of his recruit and they should do well. In college that depends on the recruiting crop that you get each will determine each season. Goo notre Dame!!
Posted Monday October 15, 2007, About: Irish face quarterback controversy
Well, I think they should start Sharpley from the games I have seen and he is much more aware of his surroundings than Clausen. Clausen has the skills set but he still needs some experience. I would leave Sharpley as starting QB he seems to be more aware and he handles himself fine. I noticed about Clausen is that he stays in the pocket too long, and not run and slide for couple of yards. Sharpley seems to be more in-synch and know how to run the offense much more smoothly. I still like our chances about upsetting these ranked teams. Goo Notre Dame!!!
Posted Wednesday October 10, 2007, About: USC program showing cracks
Well, USC will start to crumble due to the loses of some coaches. USC will have a hard time against Oregon and Cal. I still like Notre Dames chances in upsetting USC we will see. Goo Notre Dame!!!
Posted Sunday October 07, 2007, About: Weis leans toward QB starter
Well, the offensive line showed some improvement and the defense played much better. Crum had a good game and I say he is the player of the week. They are gaining experience and it is showing. They can only improve either win or lose. The whole crowd went crazy both Notre Dame and UCLA fans found out that Stanford beat USC and their home winning streak is now over. That made everyone in the Rose Bowl stadium happy and cheered. Goo Notre Dame!!!!
Posted Tuesday October 02, 2007, About: Notre Dame recruit standing firm
Smart move by this kid and he did honor his commitment to Notre Dame. Weis was straight forward and honest about this seasons situation. Well, as far as the game against Univ of Michigan about the forfeit some say that we should get a Win due to some issue that Univ of Michigan pointed out about the freshman. Which would save the 0-5 and it would be 1-4 we shall see how that would pan out. Other than that Goo Notre Dame!!!
Posted Monday October 01, 2007, About: Michigan to forfeit Penn St. win?
Well, it's good that the school reported this matter, however, all of the teams that UM played do all get a Win? This would be interesting. If all of the teams they played automatically gets a win that means it was a default win.
Posted Monday October 01, 2007, About: Another Notre Dame QB debate?
Sharpley looked good and should start the next game. They have found a leader and should stick with him this season. I would let him take over and be that leader. The freshmen are gaining experience and are improving. In addition to the offensive men they are improving very slowly. The defensive line will get the extra help next season with 5 new defensive linemen whom I can't wait to see in action along with the new corners and linebackers. By the way, Crist can play, has the vision, and he can also lead Notre Dame. However, this year is about gaining experience and I have been watching the freshmen, softmore, and the juniors play. They are improving and gaining the experience that they need win or lose. Goo Notre Dame!!!
