He said when he graduated he had 3 options...1. go help out on his parents failing farm...2. train for the Olympics and hope he got some sponsership dollars or 3rd take Vince up on the 250k contract that WWE was offering....as everyone knows he took the money and ran. He also stated that at the time as much as he loved the idea of competing he knew he would make more money fake wrestling cause UFC wasnt paying fighters awhole lot at the time....lol even went on to say something about owning 5 houses at one point...damn lol

i for one hope Lesner gets back into the ring. love him or hate him he brings fans to the sport. I was into MMA well before Lesner came along so i seen the fan base change and expand. IMO i agree with whoever said he should have gone straight into MMA after college. ESPN did a great interview with him and he explained why he took the WWF over everything else. Also if and when he does come back....id be scared if i was Lesners opp. lol i think he will come back with a chip on his shoulder and want to hurt someone
