Oh, and also adding to that, the Yankees DID suffer as they should without those players. Notice they got extremely hot once A-Rod returned? It's not like the Yankees overcame the injuries, they just simply got their players back at a good time.

The Mets are missing 3 of their best 4 position players and for a longer amount of time than anyone on the Yankees. Reyes has been hurt for over a month, while Delgado's time will approach 2 months and possibly a lot more.

We're missing an all-star SS, all-star CF, and a 1B who was an MVP candidate at the end of last season.

Not to mention, Oliver Perez and John Maine, 2 huge parts of the rotation, are hurt, as well as JJ Putz. Our injuries are much worse than the Yankees. Nady is a platoon player, Bruney is an average reliever, Wang has always been a good #3 or #4 starter, but he's nowhere near as good as Yankee fans seem to think he is.

Thomas Jones is an above-average back who plays as well as his O-Line does.

Leon is something special, hard to replace.
