Nash averaged 4.5 ast in college to go along with 14 pts and 1 stl a game. Rondo did 9 pts, 4 ast and 4 rebounds Sheed averaged 13 pts, 7 rebs, and 2 blks Duncan averaged 10 pts and 9 rebs his freshmen year, and that's what you have to look at. Most players who stay, who aren't named Melo or Durant, take a huge leap their sophomore year. Look at Michael Jordan, if we're looking at the pinnacle of basketball players, he added 7 pts/game, 1 reb/game, 1 block a game, and nearly 1 steal to his stats between his freshmen and sophomore year.
Nobody is saying this kid is going to be Shaq, why are you knocking him when the local press is just happy he's not looking like a fool?
No, I think the point is that he can be a contributor. Saying that he may be able to help instead of just learning the game is not exactly saying, he is automatically awesome.
Sounds like there's going to be fight between the Pacers and Jazz for this pick. Somebody has to take the thrown of Whitest Team in the NBA, and those Mormons make me believe they can do it!
Ummm, yeah, that's the point of the comments under the article, you know, to make comments about the article. I don't know, that's a pretty crazy concept, huh?
Seems like a few of you are popping a Woody Hayes about revenue, TSUN, and some other comments that have nothing to do with the article. So, thanks for being irrelevant, much like Tate Forcier.
Yay QB Force Baby Tate is out! Dude was crying the first game when DRob blew up.
I think somebody mentioned that he would be a better fit in Hoke's offense... no, not really. He's about the same as Robinson but slower. Devin Gardner, the four star, 6'4" QB who red-shirted last year is actually the best fit for the system.
Baby Tate just knew that he was third in pecking order. So long.
RIP isn't in a bad state, in fact I would say that he's playing quite well. The other night against the Hawks he started the game a very efficient 5 for 6, and that was on a couple catch and shoots, and runners. I just don't think his head is in the right place since Gordon came in. And, Kuester has been horrible this year, not allowing hot hands to ride, and riding some streaks until he craps out.
Jordan's thinking is that he wants somebody who's played in Larry Brown's system and excelled.
RR is on the hot seat for sure. Look for the new AD to find any reason to can him and bring back the pro-style offense and top-notch recruiting that Michigan is known for.
Kids go to schools to get recognition by the NFL. If you're not running a defensive or offensive scheme that is going to place these kids in the NFL, they're not even going to look at you.
Two things are working against RR right now, 1. his offense hasn't translated well in a conference known for power football and huge defensive lines. 2. He's let a complete meltdown happen on the other side of ball, the defense looks to be in shambles with no end in sight. That has to do with the defection of players who didn't care for his defensive schemes and his inability to recruit players that want to play his brand of football.

But he can do this:

Ed Davis: FTW.
Not to mention the above comments about staying at home and sitting on his pile of money.

Well this statement must just be a rumor:
"There he learned the complex brewing process that produces the great taste of Miller Lite."
Great taste? Great taste for piss right?
