It doesn't matter what VY does, the blame from Longhorn fans and Bud Adams will go elsewhere.

Refusing to go back into a game after being booed, driving off with threats of suicide, saying you want to leave the NFL, saying football isnt fun anymore because the NFL doesnt coddle you like UT did, making it ran shirtless and drunk on stage, punching a guy because you didnt like his gesture, claiming you will be in the Hall of Fame and next black QB to win the SB, throwing your gear in the stands, running away from teammates and coach , admitting you are quitting on Fisher-on top of averaging 120 yards passing and 1 td a game (and thats just for this year, his 'best' year, which is subpar for most other QB's) - any and all of this would get a player fired. But not VY, as long as Adams is around. VY could kill someone rob a liquor store, he would still be Bud Adams' "guy".

It really does't matter what Young does, he is probably not going anywhere.
I mean, McNabb really isnt doing great and was demolished the same day he got a mega extension, of all things.

Fisher was never really 'sold' on Young from jump street. Now, its not that he never liked him, but that is being the case more and more due to Young's attitudes and performances..

On the flip side, Bud Adams doesnt seem to sold on Fisher anymore. Adams overrode the OC and coach and passed on Leinart and took Young. Many VY fans always use the fal back of ' well, VY took the team from 0-6 to 8-8, etc. On that accord after VY quit the team and fans and refused to go back in, Kerry Collins took the team to one of their vest records ever, 13-3, winning 13 straight, and the playoff loss wasnt even his fault.

In Bud's mind, he probably though the season was lost when Young was benched and sidelined with an 'injury' that year, but they went 13-3.

Other will point to Youngs stats this year. Young best season ever is a below average year for almost any other QB. I mean, he averaged 120 yards a game and 1 TD. Had a few fumbles and some INTS, lowest so far, but his pass attempts are low.

And as for being 'selected' to the Pro Bowl, its one thing to end up going in general, its another thing to be going at all because 4 guys ahead of you didnt want to go.

This s what, year 5 or 6? Can you see Brady or Manning (either one) or Brees doing what Young has done? One of these QB's is DEFINITELY not like the others.

I never really got into the whole 'soo many coaching changes / no stability / etc' translated into 'throwing the ball to the other team'.

And if he is so smart as you say, he shouldnt have trouble learning terminology and a playbook.

Got his degree in two years but cant learn a playbook that changes? Kinda like learning new material for your classes that change every semester.

And as for Aaron Rodgers, he isnt exactly a Tom Brady or Drew Brees, so making a comparison to him is pretty much doomed to failure.

After trading Leinart away, they deserve what is happening to them.

I like after about 10 passes, they (Peter King and even Warner) are calling Max Hall he next Warner, and it has nothing to do with his playing skill.
