well I agree that the Wings should keep Hossa as long as its the sorta of deal zetterberg signed that would average 6 mill a year. Now about the trades for backstrom or baumeester i say no because they want big money. Just sign conklin to a 2 year extension and call up Howard. No sense in tying up alot of money in a goalie. Buffalos Miller could have went with his hometown team but chose to sign longterm with Buffalo. Trade Franzen to the Leafs for their Frist rounder. Toronto needs scoring punch and the wings could use their top 10 pick for a good puck moving dman to get into the system in a few years

To the Yankee fan who thinks Cabrera better clean up his act or he will be a bust.... Umm would you say the same about Arod then? all that money and he is not clutch at all? I mean they have similar numbers thru 5 years of their careers.... So that would mean Arod is a bust... Jeter is a bust since he makes alot of errors then right? I mean what are you basing Cabrera being a bust? That would mean only Manny and Pujols are true talents and everyone else must not measure up to what you consider to be a good player. hmmm well wouldnt Long Island be a better place or even Hartford or Winnipeg or even Quebec... Stop tyring to make teams work in non hockey areas. Its time to Fire Bettman and hire an actual hockey guy... Those places i mentioned are much safer areas to have a hockey team. The Islanders wouldnt be an issue if mr Wang would stop trying to give out huge contracts to backup goalies like DiPietro and make bad draft pics.

Ok Steve Moore will get his money but im sorry is he really entitled to 38 million? NO he would have made 6-7 million and then no team would have picked him up. He grew up in my town of Windsor Ontario and ive seen him play. He is a decent player but nowhere near a 38 million dollar guy in loss earnings kind of player.

LOL being a niner' fan I used to always cheer for T.O.. Now he is just a 35 year old with the mental makeup of a 12 year old. Its hilarious to see a grown man act like this. i do not want them trading joyce. He has big time power. Hits in clutch situations. Has speed and a rocket of an arm. I would truly like them to hang onto him and he is the left handed power bat they need to build with. What the hell are you talking about? Since 1952 (a span of 14 Olympics) when Canada won it's second of back to back Golds, Canada has won: One Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze medals. How in any way, shape or form is that dominating?

UMM LETS SEE the last few olympics Canada HAS dominated... are we really going back 50 years? Ok lets go with Junior hockey then and the Canada Cup and the World Cup... LIKE I SAID DOMINATED!!!

Well i think the reason why bettman wants this is because he is tired of Canada dominating the National Game. When you play in the Olympics you play the BEST ATHLETES! his case will be you play the 2nd and 3rd tier players. Another reason why the NHL needs a new NHL commissioner who looks over the league as a whole and sells it worldwide! No better way to show off NHL caliber talent than on the Olympic plateau. Being a Tigers fan id hate to trade Maggs because he is a good guy and a good player. If he is traded and Boston is one of the rumors teams i would ask for Jed Lowry and a pitching prospect. The Sox have alot of depth and the Tigers can use some young blood. I wonder if asking for Masterson also in the deal would be asking too much?

As for the other team the Mets well their Gm wants his whole team to consist of Spanish players so im sure he will push hard for him. Maybe the young outfielder Martinez they have in their system would be a good fit for the Tigers. They need team speed. Leyland is National League manager and the NL is a speed league so why not give him some weapons.
