well I agree that the Wings should keep Hossa as long as its the sorta of deal zetterberg signed that would average 6 mill a year. Now about the trades for backstrom or baumeester i say no because they want big money. Just sign conklin to a 2 year extension and call up Howard. No sense in tying up alot of money in a goalie. Buffalos Miller could have went with his hometown team but chose to sign longterm with Buffalo. Trade Franzen to the Leafs for their Frist rounder. Toronto needs scoring punch and the wings could use their top 10 pick for a good puck moving dman to get into the system in a few years

hmmm well wouldnt Long Island be a better place or even Hartford or Winnipeg or even Quebec... Stop tyring to make teams work in non hockey areas. Its time to Fire Bettman and hire an actual hockey guy... Those places i mentioned are much safer areas to have a hockey team. The Islanders wouldnt be an issue if mr Wang would stop trying to give out huge contracts to backup goalies like DiPietro and make bad draft pics.

LOL being a niner' fan I used to always cheer for T.O.. Now he is just a 35 year old with the mental makeup of a 12 year old. Its hilarious to see a grown man act like this. i do not want them trading joyce. He has big time power. Hits in clutch situations. Has speed and a rocket of an arm. When you play in the Olympics you play the BEST ATHLETES! his case will be you play the 2nd and 3rd tier players. Being a Tigers fan id hate to trade Maggs because he is a good guy and a good player. If he is traded and Boston is one of the rumors teams i would ask for Jed Lowry and a pitching prospect. The Sox have alot of depth and the Tigers can use some young blood. I wonder if asking for Masterson also in the deal would be asking too much?

As for the other team the Mets well their Gm wants his whole team to consist of Spanish players so im sure he will push hard for him. Maybe the young outfielder Martinez they have in their system would be a good fit for the Tigers. They need team speed. Leyland is National League manager and the NL is a speed league so why not give him some weapons.
