The Yups are the ones who can afford the ridiculous-priced ticks and boxes. And they make up, maybe, 25% of the crowd. Too much, imho.
I go to a decent amount of games per year. Did when they were played in the Civic Arena, as well. I will say that even when it is loud down there, it doesn't translate on t.v, but damn...the crowd could be doing a better job.
I think it is more "pins and needles" than excitement sometimes in these games.
James Neal kept getting pulled over for tinted windows. Seriously, if he isn't going to contribute by scoring, why doesn't he not hurt us by staying out of the box?!!
How much does anyone want to bet the Sens come back with a vengeance in Game 2 while the Pens pick their arse? Story seem familiar. No one taking that bet, eh?
Classy in the handshake line, and then says something like this:
"I am not saying there was a phone call from (the league), but someone just wanted Game 7," he told the paper.
"For the ratings. You know, the lockout, escrow, the league needs to make profit. I don't know whether the refs were predisposed against us or the league. But to not give obvious penalties (against the Capitals), while for us any little thing was immediately penalized."
Agree. I am not sure the Isles and the Sens are very similar, and the Sens have better goaltending. Although, that doesn't mean the Pens can't find a way to totally **** the bed in this series either.
Puck, not sure if you saw my comment yesterday, but I told you that it was a good series, and your team played with a lot of heart and fire. Pens and their fans alike were scared...
He should have taken the high road and said nothing, but once again, he can't help himself. So, he looks no better than Ovie.
Regarding the Pens, they better get their act together 5 on 5. Can't count on the PP goals to lift them every game.

At the very least!

Dear goodness. And the call Sid the whiner. Kay.
Crosby is a finalist for the Masterson.
Wrong, just wrong!
But again, I didn't say I wanted him to necessarily.
But how about firing up the team with a goal or two if possible, and do it by taking more shots on net?
Let the guys who get paid 2-3 Mil or even less do the hitting?
I have that feeling...he is putting Fleury in.
Eh. I never feel great about any of them. Know what I mean? Anything can happen.
