To bad that thier taking care of themselves and not thier teams. There is a reason that college sports have started to get more popular than pro sports with true sports fans. Players are to busy trying to suck every dollar they can off thier name. They already make millions for juggling peanuts, so god forbid they actually have to work hard to win. I would love for some of these NBA players spend one week over in Afghanistan and then check thier les and see how much they made during that week. Some people on here have already said it and i agree that fans are the only reason these players make what they do, so they need to start taking that into consideration.

Since Lebron wanted a specticle then what they should do is make it an one hour special with that maury guy interviewing and other sportscasters going thru all the possibilities like they did last week and then come out with the dna results. They can label it . "THE RESULT".

If this comes out be true cleveland fans will be lining up to pay Delontes next bail and legal fees just like they wanted to pay gilberts fine.

LOL another person who is getting played by jackson. We did a huge research project in college on him for ethics class and interviewed people from all over the country and more african americans thought he was hurting them more than helping them. He has tried to turn so many situations into being about race for no reason but to keep his name out there. He is prolonging the racist problems in our country and i garauntee rosa parks would b slap him and tell him to get his butt off the bus because he's not even welcomed in the back. If gilbert was black then this would of never been mentioned. So anyways back to sports, GO CAVS

get over urself already with ur now lebron james d riding. U couldnt stand the guy and now he's ur hero. Like i said all year everybody hates lebron unless he's on ur team. I can give 2 craps that he left its the fact that he f'd us with the way he did it. All these people can say whatever they want about cleveland screwing lebron but the fact is that he was the only thing that the kids had to look up to and be positive . Cleveland has a currupt city council and is the poorest city in the country. When lebron left the way he did on TV he made the people in cleveland feel that he was bigger than them and that they werent good enough for him. My mom is a teacher there and the things the kids are telling her are crazy so nobody can tell me different. Instead of playing ball most are gonna head for the corner. Lebron knew how important he was and maybe if he would of left another way it wouldn't of been so traumatizing for some. But months of building up hopes that he might stay for no reason because he clearly made his decision before free agency even neared. But its all good now because its back to team basketball and not lebron basketball. The cavs will be better them most think and now have a reason to drive them and finally be coached by a real coach and not lebron. And BIG Z I know u want one before u go but there a re other contendors that wanted u and cleveland would love to see u win but with Miami i feel u just tarnished that with most. I still got respect for u because u stuck with us between the worst of times and after being dealt last year i know u were hurt. To all the cleveland haters out there, please keep hatin which is only gonna fuel our determination.

exactly that why im sick of this he took less money, so he's a better person. He left and thats ok but i wont forgive for how he did. I was to blinded by all the winning to see his true self. Me playing sports for most of my life, i cant see myself giving up on my team, just to try and win easier. He might get some rings but he'll realize then its not the same. Its all good though because i still think boston, lakers and orlando(if they can get 1 more piece)can still take the heat and im hoping the bulls pull it together like they should with boozer. Im just hoping somebody wants to take the challenge of bringing cleveland a ring.

the yankess kept doing this stack a team with high profile players crap and startied winning all the time and baseball died. Does anybody really think that if the heat keep winning it all it will turn off alot of people that arent die hard basketball fans. U can say what u want about those type of fans but without them theres alot less money generated by the league. I hope its not gonna happen, but its possible. The nba is at its best when theres competition and this just might end that.

he didnt take less money. not paying taxes is gonna make up for it.

The cavs are gonna win it this year, im not even worried. Were better off being the cleveland cavs instead of being cleveland lebron. No more kising butt. The funny thing is that he still plans on living in Akron. I got a feeling he'll be burning in flames soon before he even goes to hell.

Dear Cleveland, All Of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Cavaliers Supporters Wherever You May Be Tonight;

As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.

This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his "decision" unlike anything ever "witnessed" in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.

Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.

The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.

There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.

You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.

You have given so much and deserve so much more.

In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:

"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ???KING??? WINS ONE"

You can take it to the bank.

If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal by one of our very own has shifted our "motivation" to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.

Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there.

Sorry, but that's simply not how it works.

This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown "chosen one" sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And "who" we would want them to grow-up to become.

But the good news is that this heartless and callous action can only serve as the antidote to the so-called "curse" on Cleveland, Ohio.

The self-declared former "King" will be taking the "curse" with him down south. And until he does "right" by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.

Just watch.

Sleep well, Cleveland.

Tomorrow is a new and much brighter day....

I PROMISE you that our energy, focus, capital, knowledge and experience will be directed at one thing and one thing only:

DELIVERING YOU the championship you have long deserved and is long overdue....

With only three years the cavs knew they had to win within those 3 years and made moves that they thought would win that year instead of trying to build. The cavs gave him a chance and he quit. His true colors came out so were better off rebuilding then kissing his arse.

Akron and Cleveland police should of been on standby before the circus. I just talked to my dad in cleveland and he said everybody is already talking about getting him when he comes back to ohio. Would love to see him try and stroll in the barbershop in akron where he always gets his haircut. He's gonna realize he messed up real quick.
Posted Thursday July 08, 2010, About: James, Bosh, Wade hatched plan in 2006
Yeah i seen that trade rumor today, but with nobody knowing if was gonna stay nobody reasonable would go to cleveland. Lebron held us hostage with all this crap, plain and simple.
Posted Thursday July 08, 2010, About: James, Bosh, Wade hatched plan in 2006
He probally will with 3 players and no money for anybody else in Miami. Im just saying he;s gone and he did betray cleveland and he's gonna get a dose of harsh reality once people start hating him were ever the heat goes and plays instead of cheering for him. He'll come back crying in the end and its gonna feel sweet to tell him no thank u.

wasnt asking for 3 more years now, im talking 3 years ago when he should of signed a 5 or 6 year so we didnt have to try filling holes with people to win that year instead of developing a team.
Posted Thursday July 08, 2010, About: James, Bosh, Wade hatched plan in 2006
Why should our orginization help out other teams to stop lebron. The only time we need to worry about him is when we play the heat and thats it and I garuntee were gonna come to play when we do play the heat. The only thing is that i dont think he's gonna make the trips to play in cleveland. Im pretty sure his elbow will flare up
