Hell get his chance in sunday. Big game for both teams. All i know is Shockey wont be the deciding factor of this game. Its going to be the Saints covering the recievers vs the giants getting at Brees. shockey is a small role player in the saints offense... definitly not the superstar. I think the Giants would welcome the saints game plan if they thought that Shockey would be the difference maker. How great would it be for shockey to use his "emotional competitiveness" and cost the saints a few penalties like he did when he was in NY???

bwahh hahaha... see how he used baskett as a pun!!! so clever. Hes not a bad reciever he might be 2 or a 3 somewhere. definitly a role player on any team. I am a giants fan and i will tell you hes not bad. And the eagles have a decent reciever corp now... Desean Jackson??? just saying.

Only thing about baskett is that he has to be deaf to listen to his wife talk and or laugh.

Exactly what i was thinking. I think sign Garcia and trade for Anderson. its an all around smart move for both Panthers and Browns. I wonder what the salary cap implications would be to release Delhomme.

What the F??? could you morons please go chat on facebook or your world of warcraft accounts so people can discuss football??? I hate it when people fill the pages up with this garbage. I am looking for football opinions and instead i have to read about an almost straight to DVD movie starring a boy band member... just crap...
Posted Friday September 11, 2009, About: How bad is Polamalu's injury?
those are good stats in my book... and i dont know what the ravens of 2000 have anything to do with the titans of last year. They were a good team. a lot of heart on defense, good secondary. but it was there running game that was good. and how many teams rushed for over a hundered yrds against the steelers last year? only them and the giants i think. granted not much of a passing offense but to put up 200 against the steelers plus over the century in rushing... not bad in my opinion.

You just sound angry to me... go drink some tea and meditate... oooosahhhh!!!

Any when is someone going to let him know that Ocho cinco is not how you say 85 in spanish... it means just eight five. Juvial i know... but i hate when broadcasters refer to his name because it mean 85.
Posted Thursday September 10, 2009, About: Ochocinco taunts NFL's Twitter rules
why do the bengals put up with this??? It is obvious that this guy really cares more about his image and his twitter page and his endzone celbrations (if he can ever find the ez again) than actually winning a football game. This is all garbage and the bengals would have been better off trading hm to the raiders who would then trade him to the Pats!!! I am surprised that they are keeping him despite his levels of production over the last 2 years.
Posted Tuesday September 08, 2009, About: Source: Giants looking at new tight end
Thats what i am saying. Smoke and mirrors... you never know what the giants are doing... which is frustrating as a fan because you want to know whats going on with the team.

and Smith signed with the igles... so i doubt they are looking really hard at this. I dont think that they are going to look for anything significant in trades or pickups. If they werent confident in the WR that they have now they could trade for someone but i think it would cost too much... so they will stick with what they have. Which is a deep threat... now if they cuold just catch the ball!!!

one thing i would like to see is an upgrade in the secondary. The broncos have a lot of depth and some really good players.
Posted Tuesday September 08, 2009, About: Source: Giants looking at new tight end
Hey this is the most gossip the giants have let out during this pre-season. With all the drama around the league its like year round football... excepts for the giants. they are so hush hush about things its ridiculous!!!

Doesn't make sense though... they traded a TE, Boss is obviously the TE/rec of the group. unless they are looking for the big play maker it doesn't make sense. This sounds like a smoke and mirrors to me. The point here is to find an offensive weapon. Pope and and smith are neither.
Posted Tuesday September 01, 2009, About: Umenyiora walks out on new Giants coordinator
i think its a planned distraction so that nobody will focus on the recievers that cant catch a cold!!! Well played Osi... well played.
Posted Tuesday September 01, 2009, About: Umenyiora walks out on new Giants coordinator
I never liked Osi. he is good... but he thinks that he is great. he got a lot of talkbecuase of his big game against the eagles where he embarrassed a back up left tackle... way to go Osi... you showed the world that your better than back ups! At this point he is over shadowed by Tuck who i think is far far far better and will be great. Start Kiwi ahead of him and see how he feels then. The only reason he and kiwi are there is for depth... but the giants could certainly make due without him as they did last year.
Posted Friday July 03, 2009, About: Sources: Goodell to be tough on Plaxico & Vick
Couple of things here guys... I dont see any racisim in this situation. This is purely a case by case situation where individuals did things wrong... put the race card down for just a minute would ya??? The difference between Phelps and these situations is that Phelps did not go to court nor was he prosecuted. he was suspended for a photo!!! I agree with the above comments about Ray lewis' situation. Its not at all different from the Pacman situation. Each of the mentioned players will pay thier legal debt to society. This does not mean that They should be reinstated to the NFL. While the NFL is being tougher on its "employees" than in other sports... I have to wonder why we do not hear stories of domestic abuse, murder, guns and drugs (with the exception of performance enhancing) in other sports. Maybe the NFL needs to be tougher. And Lewis happened before Goodell... he cant go back and punish him today for what he did before he was comish. i am all for what he is doing. Maybe Vick needs to make $10 per/hr to appreciate what he had and appreciate Life. I am not a PETA activist, I am not a racist... I am not a church goer that preaches forgivness. But I know right from wrong. I dont do the things that the players do because it would jeopardize my livlihood... and thats what they did. The jeopardized thier lifestyle. They rolled the dice and got snake eyes and now they have to deal with the consequences.

Your exactly my evidence... i bet if we gave you a ton of $$$ because you can do so many wind sprints while I drink my beer, you would end up where these fools are. If all you care about is watching the game rather than care about a man or animal dying... then you are exactly the kind of ignorant person that we are talking about.
Posted Tuesday June 30, 2009, About: Sources: Goodell to be tough on Plaxico & Vick
Most reputible companies do not hire people with criminal records. I would not be able to work in my profession if i did any of the things that burress, Vick, Stallworth, Pacman, Tank Johnson or anyone else did. this isnt being tried twice. This is an employer choosing not to have employees act like this. I do not believe that athletes should be role models for childeren, thats a parents job, but I do think that some of these players act as if they do not have to play by the rules because they can catch a football!!! It should be a privelidge and an honor to be able to compete at such a high level. To throw it away because of ignorance is to me the definition of stupidity. They will all go to trial and pay thier societies debt because they each broke the law (regardless if you think manslaughter is worse than shooting yourself). the NFL has a right to keep them from being employed within thier organization. Suspend these idiots indefinitly, send a messege to every other player... this will not be tolerated act like a responsible human being.
Posted Friday June 19, 2009, About: Plaxico trying to force Goodell's hand
just an FYI... he did the time because of the gambling aspect which has a longer sentence then dog fighting. He did his time and like any other employer/ sponser would do... the NFL which is an entity that is run and controlled by a group of organizations (not just one team) is choosing to distance themselves from such a person. As they should do with burress, pacman etc. i said in a previous comment that I thought the way stallworth handles himself would get him back into the game... but evidently Goodell and the NFL do not want any part of these shananagins. You cant say its because of thier stardom... if i did what these guys did my employer would distance themselves from me... and i am a nobody!!!
Posted Friday June 19, 2009, About: Plaxico trying to force Goodell's hand
He is in the league... or a better way to say it is that he is currently not suspended from the league. He is not currently employed by a team. I dont know if goodell has to wait until he lands somewhere. But its smarter to wait and see. Because Goodell waits it causes teams to think twice about taking him (or anyone for that matter). Think of it like this... if he waits and teams think that maybe plaxico isnt a good investment because he could serve a 1 year suspension from the league. He could end up put of the league for good. So it makes sense to wait. Good politics. goodell is a very smart individual.
Posted Thursday June 18, 2009, About: Plaxico trying to force Goodell's hand
What goodell does has nothing to do with the law... he is the CEO of a company. I NY someone can be terminated from thier position without cause. The giants let him go the same way nike would pull the sponsorship of an athlete if they did something wrong. Michael Phelps lost endorsements without ever having a charge brought against him... did those companies act unjustly? Goodell has an issue right now because his precendent has been to wait until after a trial to hand down a punishment. But he is in every bit of his rights to suspend any NFL employee for actions that are detrimental to the NFL. Plaxico will have his day in court... your service was not in vain!!!
Posted Thursday June 18, 2009, About: Plaxico trying to force Goodell's hand
On the other hand of my comment about plax i stallworth... who while killed somone... actually showed remorse, is paying a settlement (which one could argue is equal to jail time. its not the laws fault that the family wwants the money over jail time) and the biggest difference about the stallworth situation as opposed to Burress, Tank Johnson, lance briggs (car accident and fleeing the scene) and Pacman and of course Vivk is this... Stallworth has not once talked about returning to football. His concern has been his legal issues and personal life. They other before mentioned people made a mistake, showed no remorse and the only thing they wanted was to be told when the could return to football. I say 1-2 game suspension max for him because of how he conducted himself in the situation.
Posted Thursday June 18, 2009, About: Plaxico trying to force Goodell's hand
I agree with the fact that all he did was harm himself. i think the punishment he eventually recieves will not fit the crime... however, the giants are taking the worst of this whole thing. First they have to release him because thier star reciever was almost definitly doing up to 3 years of prison time, then they have to play a player that didnt play for them last year and now he gets to go elswhere make more money and play without any compensation for the Giants!!! Maybe this is just from a Giants fan but I think they got royally screwed. And now the commisionaer has his hands tied. The only person making good on this is the idiot that shot himself who walks away making millions (dollars and life mistakes),
