I always wanted to bust out the "Helms Deep" sign in the bleachers...but really, who would i be kidding?
Oh, yeah, and If the Yanks can't get a Cain or Lincecum or even Lowry from the Giants for Matsui, I wouldn't even consider doing it. Of course, if I were the Giants I wouldn't consider giving up any of those 3 for Matsui anyway. Either way, no deal please.
to be fair, turning the ball over seven times also gives the other team the chance to score a LOT of points on you, so you can't really judge Feeley vs. McNabb based only on how many points were scored. Also (and I LOVE Brian Westbrook), 9 of his 20 rushes against the Giants were for 3 yards or less, and 6 of those were no gain or negative yardage. Westbrook deserves to be the focal point in that offense, and he should touch the ball as many times as possible - but there were many 2nd and short and 3rd and short situations in that game where the Eagles ran, and couldn't get the first down.
Wrong, but for the very reasons you stated. They haven't played anyone in the west yet, so who knows how good they really are. Can't say they're scrubs in the west if they're 7-0, but you're right that you also can't say they're definitely better than any of the top teams out there, too. Lets just wait and see, shall we?
Oh, and what about the Phillies? Seeing as they just traded away their backup plan for CF, I would guess they'll at least be involved in the talks with Rowand. Oh yeah, not to mention he's a player the fans here actually love. *cough*Burrell*
