What are you talking about? Martz and the public greaty oversestimate Martz's value based on his success from 1999-2003. The fact is the Bears went from 19th in pts an 23rd in yards in 2010 to 21st in pts and 30th in yards under Martz. In other words they went backwards offensively. The value of 19th and 23rd got Ron Turner canned but the value of going 21st and 30th should net Martz a raise? Nope. I hope Martz and his outdated worthless scheme walk.

Why would anyone think anything else was coming? The fact is this trade of young prospects for talent that's already proven to be mediocre IS Kenny Williams M.O. (Prospect/Chris Young and El Duke for a 30 year old Javier Vazquez.) (Left Handed Power prospect Brandon Allen for 28 year old 4.8 ERA having Tony Pena) (Prospects De Los Santos, Gonzalez and Sweeney for a 27 year old Nick Swisher, then he didn't even have the good sense to keep Swisher and is searching around for a left handed bat with power after GIVING Swisher away, and trading away a Left Handed power prospect who was putting up better numbers in the minors than Gordon Beckham. Kenny Williams has proven time and time to be a manic over reactor. There's a reason we only have 2 playoff appearances in his decade long tenure.
