Posted Monday October 05, 2009, About: Ex-Patriot to Brady: 'Take off the skirt'
And not to bring race into this..but Im gonna bring race into this...I was watching when Harrison made the comment, and with Dungy, aka "Mike Vick's Second Daddy", sitting next to him, I immediately wondered whether Harrison would have made the "pick up your skirt" comment if it had been Vick, Donovan McNabb, or David Garrard at QB lobbying for the call instead of Mr. GQ.

Btw, I think Harrison should keep his mouth shut, unless it's open to thank Brady for any SB rings Harrison has accumulated.

Or maybe Brady should just take some PED's like Rodney did, so he can get bigger and wont have to worry as much about the hits.
Posted Sunday September 27, 2009, About: Most undisciplined player in league?
Classic mistake hitter who kills bad pitching, like 4/5 starters, but can never be the main offense on a championship caliber team, due to better pitching in playoffs. Yanks found that out the hard way which is why they traded him in the first place. Apart from that, is a "me" player who is a liability on D and terrible situational hitter. Not a winning player, regardless of the stats he may put up. Like the anti-Pedroia.
Posted Friday September 04, 2009, About: Will Oregon punish Blount for punch?
You allow criminals into your school because they can run a fotball or catch a basketball, and you are surprised when they act the part? They mentioned on ESPN that Oregon has had probs before with former Juco RB's...gee, wonder why most of these guys didnt go to D1 schools right out of HS..poor grades, poor discipline, prior arrests, off/on field incidents...and the Boise PD says they arent going to charge him criminally? If i was the Boise St player who got hit, I'd file a complaint and leave it up to the DA as to whether or not to pursue charges. And looking at this punk, Im not shocked that he didnt square up to the Boise player and hit him like a man..he looks like he's been sucker punching people and acting like a punk all his life.
Posted Monday July 06, 2009, About: Brewers can't find trade partner
And Wang won 19 games two consecutive years for Yanks, pitching in a big market. He was 8-2 when he got hurt last year. His career record, all with Yanks, is 55-26. What, exactly, about those numbers screams to you that he isn't suited to pitch in a "big market'?

You've gotta be kidding me with this post.
Posted Monday July 06, 2009, About: Brewers can't find trade partner
Hughes has been lights out since moving to Yanks' pen and is now their bridge to Mo. Next year he moves back into the rotation, where they think so highly of him that they refused to make him centerpiece in Santana deal a few years ago. He is finally starting to look like the guy they thought he'd be. It would probably take Braun or Fielder to get him. And before Brewers fans go nuts- Im not suggesting a trade like that. Just making a point that Hughes isnt going to be "stolen" by Brewers for Mike Cameron or somethuing ridiculous like that. Cashman may be a moron, but no that big of a moron. Wang just went on DL with shoulder problems yesterday, pulled from Saturday's start in mid-batter, so I'd say Brewers are probably not gonna wanna make that move. Do you actually pay attention to any baseball outside of the Brewers??
Posted Thursday July 02, 2009, About: D-Backs nix Angels' offer for Haren
For al of the hype surrounding their farm system over the years, who have the Angels truly produced in terms of impact position players? Guys like Kotchman and Morales are solid, but hardly the players people expected they'd be. Then there is Dallas MacPherson, Howie Kendrick, and others- guys who either bombed, or havent panned out yet. I think taking guys from their system/hype machine could be a problem for some teams

You brought up your ancestors, as if they were some pioneers coming in on wagon trains, instead of the illegals they are. Yes, youre right. It's much easier to drive in LA.... And LA and SF have a very low cost of living, so youre right about that too. And who exactly speaks English in SoCal? Specifcally, LA and SD?
And its fairly hypocritical that everyone is up in arms of Manny juicing, when you elected the King of the Juiceheads himself to be your governor. Maybe he and Manny can get together to compare roid cycling and the pros/cons of gynecomastia.

And youre right..out **** doesnt stink, and NYC is the center of the universe.

Haha...ancestors? You're living in California? I dont know about your ancestors, but last time I was in Cali, looked to me like most of your neighbors ancestors moved north, not west...as in illegally, from Mexico!! I guess that did take some courage though..dodging snakes...navigating the Rio Grande...ducking the Border Patrol...stealing cattle and food from ranchers and farmers along the way..committing crimes once they got there..yep, those inhabitants out west are quite the pioneers. Comprende amigo??

Religion has no place in athletics, nor do any religious gestures. If you make them, you should expect reprucussions. I have a bigger problem with guys like Bonds and Manny watching HR's so long that the ball is over the fence and the next pitch ready to be thrown befor ehty start their trot.

As for who the Yanks and Red Sox are...they are the two teams that combined have won 6 of the past 13 World Series. That's why, if you're a baseball fan., on either coast, you ought to pay attention to them. The road to the WS runs through the AL East.
Posted Sunday April 12, 2009, About: Report: Harvin's draft stock dropping
If they think he's DeSean Jacksaon teams should take him..if they think he's Ted Ginn Jr they shouldnt...but the marijuana? cmon!! If a team like the Jets passes b/c of that..well, let me just say Dan Marino...and Warren Sapp!! Two guys th Jets could/should have taken but passed on for drug rumors leadingup to draft...two HoF players.

Posted Thursday April 09, 2009, About: Taylor rips Jets, talking to Dolphins
Im sorry, did I miss the year when Taylor's teams won ANYTHING?! I mean, this guy may go to the HoF, but to rip another organization. I dont think he's ever even won a playoff game! And if he has, he hasnt won many.

NOw, Im a huge Jets fan and have no probs ripping the Jets myself for their history and stupid moves. But when this guy calls Jets fans ignorant...as compared to whom, the Cuban refugees and Haitian boat people who over-populate Miami? I suppose maybe if the Dolphins had played beter during Taylor's tenure, the Dolphins might have sold out their stadium and Jets fans may not have been able to get tickets, so he wouldnt have heard the chats. But he should be happy..at least he could understand the Jets fans..the Miami fans would have been chanting in Spanish or Creole.
Posted Sunday April 05, 2009, About: Report: Plaxico curses out cop
A police officer's "peace" can never be breached. If there was another citizen close enough to hear that, Plaz could have, theoretically, been arrested for breach of peace, or possibly disorderly conduct. In this case, if it was just Plax and the cop, Plax can say whatever he wants, curse the cop out, etc barring a threat, as long as he actually follows the cops commands..And of course, the cop knows, with this being a black athlete, that he'd have the ACLU, NAACP aqnd Reverand Al on his doorstep if he did anything but smile and take the abuse from this moron who does not deserve to be walking anything but a prison yard.

As much as I despise Boras, I completely disagree that it I'd his job to somehow try to read the "domino effect" that having one client sign with one team might have. As an agent/attorney, it is his job to look at each client individually and get each of them the best deal, individually. I know if I were paying him millions ad a client, that's what I'd want. Again, while I agree that Boras is terrible for baseball, I think some of your issues stem from your being upset that the Sox did not land Texeira.
Posted Saturday November 15, 2008, About: Yankees want Sabathia, Burnett and Lowe
Yes, you're right, we still dont understand why you detest the Yanks. And the 'everything this orgamization represents in America" part is a bit dramatic, isnt it. I meanm, this is after all a sport, baseball, and not some far reaching government conspiracy or corporate raiding. What does it represent? Capitalism? If you detest that, Id like you to point out a better system in the hoistoiry of world governments. Lemme guess, youre an Obama "redistribution of wealth", revenue sharing kind of guy. You want the Yanks to give their money away to teams like the Marlins and Tampa, where the "fans" wont even go watch a playoff caliber and ALCS-winning team play. Or maybe George should give his money to the Twins, owned by Carl Pohlad, one of the richest men in thew world, a man who could write a check to purchase the entire Steinbrenner family right now, but is too cheap to put the money baclk into his baseball team. Is that what the Yanks should do?

I mean, if owners want a salary cap, they should collectively bargain for one. If the fans want one, they should stop going to games, stop watching on TV, stop buyiong the baseball package, and stop buying MLB merchandise until owners and advertisers have to listen and institute a cap. Until that time, the Yanks are simply operating within the rules of baseball by utilizing their resources to get FA's to play in NY- it's no different that the Padres or Braves using the fact that their cities are nice places to live to get players to come there, or a Florida team using the fact that there is no income tax in the state. Each team is able to use a distinct advantage to get players- for the Yanks, it hap;pens to be that they are in the biggest market and therefore have the biggest revenue. And lets not also forgot that when Geortge bought this team from CBS for what, $10 million in 1972, the franchise was in terrible financial shape, the team was awful...and he built it to what it is today, an organization that can spend $200 mill on player salary and still turn a profit.

So no, I dont understand your problem with the Yankess or "everything they represent in America".
Posted Thursday October 16, 2008, About: McCourt considered asking Jones for refund
And the Pirates, back in the 1950's, asked Ralph Kiner to take a pay cut in the offseason after he hit 50 HR's! Their reasoning? We lost 100 games with you and your 50 HR's, we can lose those same 100 games without you and your 50 HR's.

Andrew is fat and balding, all at the ripe old age of 31. Do they have beer league softball in the Antilles?

Btw, Andrew could step up and give some of the money back. That's what Lyman Bostock tried to do back in 1978 after he signed with the Angels for a huge (back then) contract and then proceeded to hit .147 in April. When the owner refused the refund, he donated it to charity. I think Andrew's salary is being donated to Krispy Kreme. Of course, Bostock didnt have a crook like Boras as his agent.
