I didn't get to watch the game and only seen highlights, you are spot on in your penalty observations as they can defiantly determine the outcome of a game. Tough loss but on the positive side clean up some penalties and I could positively see some more W's in their season.
As practice was ending and the team assembled around Lovie Smith for the requisite wind-down words from the head coach, Jay Cutler, Julius Peppers and Brian Urlacher went over to the sidelines and brought 10-year-old Collin Wehr of Northbrook out to be part of the huddle. After things broke up, Cutler brought Collin back to the sidelines, where he set up with an "NFL Network" microphone and a chair next to him for interview subjects to sit.
