All the McCaskeys and Phillips are concerned about is putting fans in the stands and money in their pockets. Virginia McCaskey had the chance in 09 to fire both Angelo and Lovie & Co. and could have brought in Colbert and Cowher but that would have meant the McCaaskeys and Phillips would have to allow Colbert and Cowher a little more say so over the team and money spent on players and their contracts. Something Phillips and the McCaskeys are not willing to do, contrary to popular belief the Bears G.M. does not have total G.M. power in Chicago as Phillips per his bio "[i]Phillips is involved in all critical decisions of the Bears and continues to strive to make all aspects of the Bears organization the best in the NFL.[/i]" and the teams President and CEO. We see how this has worked out since Phillips has been in charge since 1999, the McCaskeys "incompetent,UN-knowledgeable owners" has an accountant running the team for them tells the whole story.
