Let's review the liberal, loony left-wing statements made about Rush on this thread.

1. Drug addict. Truth is he had failed back surgery and was in chronic pain. If you ever had back pain, you know how bad this can get. Many people get hooked on painkillers with this amount of pain. If Rush was instead a Hollywood left-wing celebrity you libs would instead be offer sympathy and words of encouragement.

2. Racist. Hardly. He was actually right about the sports media and McNabb. Warren Moon backed him up confirming this when Warren said that he was constantly asked about his race and the QB position in all media interviews. He said this right after the Rush ESPN comment.

3. Hatemonger. Another vicious lie. Rush points out the hypocrisy and lies and double standard constantly portrayed by the left. You lefties don't like it because he exposes YOUR favorite politican as a fraud. Actually, Rush is factually right the vast majority of the time.

4. Not fit to own the team. Well, then many other owners arn't fit either, since they are as far to the left as Rush is to the right.

As a UM alumni (1978, MBA 1979) living in Philadelphia, I think that the Marve situation is very similar to what the Eric Lindros situation was here in Philly. Their parents seem very similar too. Quite meddlesome.

Anyways, Whipple should help UM. Word here in Philly is that he left because he wanted to call the plays on offense. That Eagles job is done by Morninwheg, but I think we need a change in that area.
