I think the overlying thought in Philly management is your dont need a receiver to win. Just give the ball to Westbrook until you kill him. I am a Philly fan, and i agree you make this deal.. Pimpy they will trade him before releasing him. No way they allow him to go to Minnesota. The only way he ends up there, is if another team trades for him and turns around and trades him to the Vikings. Unlikely though. Favre will be a Jet.

They arent releasing him so stop talking about that. He has three years left on a contract. You let him get away with this, you then have players retiring to get out of contracts and then come back for a different team. Didnt Junior Seau do the same thing? Shouldnt be allowed and i applaud the Packers for finally putting their foot down on this garbage. I respect Favre's service big time. One of the best, but he is becoming Clemens like in the prima-donna department.

To win, you need your core players. I know few people see this, but people play better when they are happier. On a team that seems really hard to excite, Cano and Melky are two that really seem to enjoy playing. Lose Melky, and Cano's number will drop. Mark my words.

Why is Rasner the one they want to reaplce. I still feel more comfortable with Rasner on the mound than Ponson. Get rid of that bum, without the 8.5 runs he gets behind him, he wouldnt have a damn win. Rasner provides a bit of hope.
