In this situation, I am on Boldin's side. Not about him playing, but having someone have a simple conversation with him. "Hey, you're not playing this week." Cleaning out his locker was a terrible way to handle the situation.

I guess the same 'big deal' every time TO gets asked a direct question, answers then gets 400 comments of prima donna thrown his way (not that he isn't). Bottom line is people talk and it isn't a big deal. People respond and it isn't a big deal. That is what people do, its what separates us from the animals, the ability to talk each other down for no reason.

You gotta wonder if they actually look at anything when they ask for the ID (on credit cards). I used my brother in laws credit card buying some paint for his house last Summer. The girl asked for my ID and I showed it to her. She looked at the card, it said Jesse, looked at my ID which does not say Jesse and said, "OK, all set."

why is being frustrated a bad thing? I'm not saying he was open or anything, but a person should be frustrated when they lose (or under perform at their jobs etc.). It shows you care. That particular quote didn't seem to have any 'me first' attitude with it. But we will see how things go.

It is sad, but it would have been avoided had he been thinking of them (his 3 year old kid and pregnant wife) and spending time with them instead of out partying with the boys.

It's OK to go out and blow off some steam, I mean we've all shot ourselves in the leg at least once...right?

exactly where I was going. Of course the QB is the focal point of a team, and I do agree that he is not one of the elite QBs in the NFL right now (he could be) but I believe the problem lies elsewhere, mostly with coaching.

Jim Brown said the L.T. is "Lucky to be in the system he is in." AD is not in a system that requires him to catch passes. Sure, L.T. is gifted in that. Very few guys are good receiving backs. Roger Craig, Marshall Faulk...and uhmmm...thats why they are RUNNING backs. I personally think L.T will have a very good season, but AD is just hitting his prime and is a cut above right now.

Fantasy stats should be decent on a bad team. They have to play from behind all the time so they air it out like crazy. Last year Kitna was hurt, and their O-Line in just awful. But Look at 2 years ago...you know when they still sucked. Their offense gave them a chance, it was their D that allowed a gazillion points and forced Kitna to throw 45 times a game. Older QBs shouldn't have to do that.

I didn't watch too much USC ball this year, but from what I did see, the offense was the weak link with the Trojans this year. Matty L, lit it up in college, but he was also surrounded by a loaded offense...so who knows. I wouldn't take Stafford or Sanchez in the top 10, but that's just me.

People want to talk about Flacco or Ryan, but they were both 5th year seniors, and these guys are both Juniors.
