Also, the Bay Area media is very soft on Nellie because he's a good interview for them and works his p.r. magic with them. It's a total joke that he gets such a free pass. The guy is hanging on for most career wins by a coach and yet, he's never actually won any kind of championship as a coach.

Exactly. His mind is already there, but he's collecting a big salary each year and he got his contract extended last year by the GS execs. They may have surpassed the Clips as the all-time dysfunctional NBA franchise. To think, they were a once-proud team!

Trivia: Theisman's name was actually pronounced "theesman". Before either his junior or senior year at ND, the ND public relations people had him pronounce it how it is today to rhyme with the heisman trophy. Don't know if that is factual, but I have heard it several times over the years.

Why hasn't the media called out the coaching staff for Florida? Tebow had no business being in the game...31-7 and they are still trying to score on passing and pad his heisman stats. He did not deserve an injury, but Meyer and company are at fault for this one.

Not true. I have been to two different NCAA regional tournaments in Sacto. The place is packed and rockin' with all kinds of fans. The arena is just fine for NCAA hoops and there is great local interest. It doesn't matter if the local teams are good or not, it's a supportive area.
