Sosa an idol? Set your sights a bit higher is my advise. Your idol shouldn't be a liar ("I never took steroids"), a cheater (corked bat AND steroids) and a coward ("I can't speak English, so I can't testify"). If he told the truth he'd be fine, but he chose to lie...that is a crime which he should go to jail for. Witch hunt? Take a step back and look at the piece of garbage you're defending.

Sosa should go to prison for lying under oath. The same way anyone should. I doubt he will ever be held accountable, but at least this will keep him and his phony records out of the Hall of Fame.
Posted Tuesday May 26, 2009, About: Dodgers owner miffed at Manny
he's a piece of human garbage...plain and simple...a one way no good piece of garbage. Can't feel bad for the Dodgers ownership...they saw what he did to the BoSox and went ahead and signed him. Baseball will be so much better when he's gone for good which can't happen soon enough
Posted Tuesday May 12, 2009, About: Na's slow play angers Cabrera
Na always plays slow, but the one shot when he was under a tree in the straw seemed to take a half hour....I think Cabrera had a legit gripe which he raised to the PGA official
Posted Friday May 08, 2009, About: Flip-flopping Favre irks Jets
Another player, who requested anonymity, launched this salvo at the future Hall of Famer: "I'm tired of being part of his soap opera. If he really wanted to win a championship, he'd be right here. Let's call it for what it is: He wants to play for Minnesota so he can stick it to Green Bay twice a year. He's just being selfish. I'm not surprised.".....couldn't agree more and I would add his legacy is as another "me me me" player who stuck arounf too long....GB should never retire his number....see how he likes it when one party tries to "stick it" to another
Posted Tuesday April 28, 2009, About: Tortorella spars with reporter
Agree with the previous comments...reporters in all sports in general feel entitled to have every questions answered. They say its 'cause the fans have a right to know, but we all understand its so they can remain employed by having something to write about. The simple fact is nobody has to talk to the reporters, and in some cases its simply to avoid getting fined, because most leagues punish players and coaches for speaking openly about certain subjects. Bottom line is Brooks didn't get an answer...tough luck Larry.
Posted Wednesday April 01, 2009, About: Why teams haven't signed Pedro
What a bum. The mets paid him 4 years of salary for 2 seasons of production. he's made his millions, but that ain't enough? Let his injury prone, over rated, washed up arm remain unsigned...gives me hope that teams are finally coming to their senses.

Petey will look back and regret not getting on the hill again for the Mets...s/b a fun year w/a new park, a better bullpen and a good active rivalry with the Phillies (who have the ring and every right to bad mouth the mets as chokers)

I can't afford a ticket to see 'em live, but i'll pay my cable bill and enjoy...pedro is a greedy fool
Posted Wednesday April 01, 2009, About: Can Giants wait on Plaxico?
he's going to prison...no leverage = no chance the d.a. gives in...giants have to cut bait w/burress...he should take the vick route now: agree a plea, start serving time asap, try to sort out finances (i.e. sell the jewely, cars, etc), and try to stay in shape and out of trouble while in prison, so he may be able to bank a few seasons of pay when he gets out
Posted Monday March 09, 2009, About: Mets may dump reliever
he's not as good 'cause he's not on the juice any longer

J.....E.....T.....S......Jets! Jets! Jets!
Posted Thursday February 26, 2009, About: Dodgers make Manny new offer
don't take it Manny...hold out for a better offer which i hope comes ...mmm...never.
Posted Friday February 20, 2009, About: Marbury talks could heat up
Right on target. Let this piece of garbage miss the entire season. He had a chance to play when the Knicks lost a few guys earlier this year, but he refused to suit up. Amazing he's even allowed to say no...bad guy who will never be linked to a winner
Posted Wednesday February 18, 2009, About: Bowa fires back at ex-Dodger
Well put. I'n not too close to penny's situation, but the same theme goes all over the league...guys want millions and then complain about respect?? Give me a break...for the money he was paid he should have offered to clean the locker room if he couldn't pitch...just a spoiled over paid brat...he ain't alone for sure. I've heard Bowa is tough...good...that's the way he played and that's the man he is. poor little Brad didn't get respect...boo **** hoo
Posted Tuesday February 17, 2009, About: Jenks denies book's tales of misbehaving
Of course he's lying Jenks...he's an gone to Harvard Medical School after going to Yale. He's written a book that by all accounts is honest and verifiable in a number of ways. You on the other hand have numerous off the field drink related incidents and are one of 100's of players linked to steroids...you're right Bobby we should believe you not him. I have to go listen to another "honest" guy named A Rod this afternoon, so I can get more facts straight.

Just once it would be nice for someone...anyone to simply say "yup..he's right"
Posted Tuesday February 17, 2009, About: Selig: Don't blame me
You wear as much blame as anyone Mr Commish. You had no problem taking the millions in earnings personally, and you've been around long enough to know what was going on with 40HR shortstops and hitters looking like The Hulk. "don't blame me!"??? get real Bud...you knew it was happening all along.
Posted Monday February 16, 2009, About: Hints Manny will sign soon?
Amen...he's a bum
Posted Monday February 16, 2009, About: Is Manny his generation's best player?
best player??? He can't field, throw or run the bases. Anyone in the debate should do them all (unless its a pitcher). If he's clean that's good news, but let's please not get in the habit of calling this quitter anything but just that: a guy who quit on his club despite making $20 million a year. In my mind it's worse than cheating with roids...at least those guys were trying to win
Posted Monday February 16, 2009, About: Marlins, Astros, Mets on Pudge's list
The mets had a better #2 in Castro. Pudge is clearly a guy who made his millions on roids as evidenced by his drop in weight and muscle. Let someone else pay for his .236 2 hrs / 30 rbi's
Posted Monday February 16, 2009, About: Royals interested in Hudson, but...
Omar should cut Castillo and go full bore for Hudson. 2B is the weakest link on the club...amazing he can't admit the error and move on
Posted Wednesday February 11, 2009, About: Plaxico sued 9 times for non-payment
The animals he'll ask for protection in prison don't take checks...only cash. Enjoy the prison stripes plax...you're a moron, a felon, and an idiot. What a mutt
