I agree with SoFlaBoy 100%. He' s the best player on the planet wether you lke it or not. There's not a single team that would pass on him if they had the financial means to get him. So, he did make some mistakes but, at the end hes ganna get paid and make another team a playoff contender. Hopefully the Dodgers!!!!

Lets face it guys, A-Rod like many players go with the guidance of their agents. In this case it might have backfired for A-Rod. He's still the best player in baseball and the Yankees are the most historic team in baseball so, yes it is a tragedy that A-Rod following Boras advice opted out of his contract. Now days it's all about the money for the agents and they don't really care about their players well being, like in this case. It was clear to me that A-Rod always wanted to be in New York whether it was the Mets or the Yankees, so I know he's not really thinking about the money now as much as he is "Why did I opt-out?" Just as the fans were starting to accept him, this happens to him because of his agent, well... that just business, I guess!!!!

Boras is after one thing....Money! This was his opportunity to once again showcase his player and dangle him in all the owners faces. If your an owner and you are watching the world series and your team is not in it, don't you think that that announcement will get you at least thinking about A-Rod? Yes, it was wrong for him to do that but, he knew what he was doing all along. He's not rich for being an idiot but, I think someone has to put an end to this guy. But than again who?? After all he still has A-Rod!

Well, this is the result of the MLB teams having an opportunity to get familiar with Dice-K, once they did they adjusted and now you are seeing the results of why is a lot harder to pitch in the MLB than it is in Japan. Plus the level of play is elevated once is closer to the playoffs. This is the time when teams realize what they are made of, and also they find out if their investments were justified.

This is a sport site not a cartoon site. you guys need to get a life!!! Back to baseball, I think Watson is a good fit for the 'Stros like Shelton said. His ties to the franchise and the overall workings of the league gives him an edge that a lot of other candidates don't have. The question is ...How much control on the decision making will he have?? Even tho I do believe McLane has been decent in the cash money department. We'll see.....

No, not really but, when your seen as the savior of the MLS you are going to do things that normally you would'nt do. Beckham was brought to elevate MLS, and when you have all this fans that normally would not attend a game all of a sudden they are buying tickets becouse they expect you to play , what do you do? He did everything that everyone asked him to do, Now he's paying the consequences. Now fans want their money back since his not playing due to injury!! Do you see what I mean??

This are just desperate Sonic fans trying to save the team. I bet none will attend a game this year. Seattle reminds me of a car that's stored in the back of the garage and when you stop to ask the owner if it's for sale he says " no, I plan on fixing it one day" Seattle plans on fixing the arena issue one day but, It didn't surfaced until someone tried to move the team.
