Yeah, he definitely isn't kidding about the "Angry".

Okay, guys, concentrate this time...It's not a bribe. He gets the money whether he plays or not.

Boy, they're just having fun with the Lions headlines today, aren't they. First their Woody, and now their Boss. "Oh fer cute!" as they say in Wisconsin.

Yep. Very smart move all around. Get him out of the division and/or get a high pick or two in a trade. OR, if nobody's interested in trading, then you're stuck with one of the better young interior linemen in the league. Can't go wrong.

Hey, multiple user-name guy, stay away from the Packers. Get your sick jollies somewhere else.
Posted Friday January 11, 2008, About: Favre's return catches coach off-guard
I hope he wins his 6th Superbowl when he's 50.

That still probably wouldn't stop people from hating on him for whatever reason, but oh well. It's great to be a Favre fan!
Posted Wednesday January 09, 2008, About: MVP voter picked Favre over Brady
btw, everybody, I'm pretty sure that there's one of those multiple user-name **** trying to mess with this thread. I think that at least luvdatdurdywatta, BobBoston, and the voiceofreason are all the same guy. I'm sure this donkey's probably got more "personalities" out there too. ...should be shot.

...I mean, who gets their entertainment this way (i.e. through manipulation, deception, bullying)?

Posted Saturday December 01, 2007, About: Steeler: Williams injury accidental
I thought it looked intentional too. The guy clearly changed direction before he stepped on Reefer-Rick. It was legal, but dirty. ....which... y'know, hey, it's football.
Posted Saturday December 01, 2007, About: Favre won't break start streak
So, you want him to say, "take me out, coach"? Players don't do that. If Brett, or any other player for that matter, can physically drag themselves onto the field with their chin after having all their arms and legs ambutated, they're going to tell the coach they can play.

It's entirely the coach's call.

He partially tore his LCL, which is outside the knee. It wasn't the MCL or the ACL. Those injuries require surgery and rehab time.

Childress sat him out this week out of precaution. If I were him, I'd sit the kid too, but this isn't as black and white an issue as you "fire the s.o.b." people are making it out to be. Don't get me wrong, Childress should definitely be fired. ...just not for this.

Everybody, this gang of Patriots fans that insults everybody and spouts off their mouths like idiots...

They're actually just one idiot who runs multiple screen names. Just so you know. He does this to manipulate people for his own amusement.
Posted Tuesday November 20, 2007, About: NFL investigating Packers bonuses
btw, I'm pretty sure that all these moronic Patriots fans are actually NOT many morons, but rather one BIG moron who's using a bunch of different screen names.

...which, depending on how you look at it, is either schitzophrenic or just sad. Does he do it because he's nuts or is it to get a feeling of power? Or is he just lonely and wishes he had people who agreed with him?

Three!, I think you need a few exclamation points on that one, THEN it'll be true. ...give 'er a try!

KpKahder, no one's screaming at you. Those are the voices in your head. Go back to sleep now.

You know, the thing is that I probably wouldn't care about spygate anymore if it didn't so obviously anger all the Patriots fans. They get all worked up.

I mean, think about the reality of these things. How much of an advantage did the Pats get? Honestly, I can't imagine it was much, if any. How much did the Pack get from this thing? Absolutely zip. ...as if the D-linemen are going to play harder for $500. ...much less try to hurt somebody! These guys find $500 in the cushions of their couch.

And, yes, I do remember Charles Martin. That was during the worst years of the Packer/Bears rivalry (Ditka vs. Forrest Gregg). That got out of hand back then, which is why I recognize that this is a good rule, and that cash incentives should be completely banned. I also remember Buddy Ryan and Troy Aikman. This stuff definitely does need to be watched and guarded against.
Posted Tuesday November 20, 2007, About: NFL investigating Packers bonuses
I'm just glad they dropped the word "bounty." That word calls to mind someone hurting someone for money. That's NOT what this was. This was an incentive given among the players to each other if they achieved certain defensive goals like holding guys to certain yardage marks, etc.

And, belichickabow, this had nothing to do with the coach. The players did this on their own, and just didn't know that this was a rule. So, it's totally apples and oranges to compare it to spy-gate.

Denny was scouting him as a QB. ...dude's got a canon.

(get it? ...canon? ...as in, the canonical books of the NT? ...eh, forget it.)
Posted Saturday November 17, 2007, About: How Lions WR found religion
eyesWIDEopen, everything is by its nature exclusive and not inclusive. And people spill innocent blood for all kinds of reasons, and often we need no good reason at all. It's people that are effed, not Christianity.

Also, if you atheists hate Christianity so much, try being an atheist in a country that's Muslim, Hindu, etc. ...nobody's persecuting you here. Nobody's making you do anything you don't want to do. So, why so much hate? ...methinks thou dost protest too much!
