The NFL will take on a safe stance: "No players were hurt during the course of this game."
As the NFL continues to pacify the game of football, perhaps they'll reduce the cost. I mean, the argument has always been that players' salaries were so high because their careers were so short and dangerous. Now that the NFL is making it so that there's no true violence to the game, that justification is lost.
By the way, someone termed the Chief that hit Brady was "charging". He was on his belly. I watched the game. I'd hardly envision an athlete charging while on his belly. Maybe they should include "belly charging" at the NFL combine.
The posters here complain about the stories FanNation posts..but look at the comments...just as stupid half the time. I post rarely because I love football for the game..not because of the team I follow. The posts I read here are typically the crapola you'd expect from teenagers, not true fans of the game, but fans of one team.
This is one of those glorious years when the NFC East is a division the other teams can only dream of...not just one good team and a bunch of losers...but a division that is dominating the entire league. I loathe the Redskins, Giants and Eagles, but I'm a football fan. Watching McNabb is always exciting. Campbell can be a great one someday. Eli is going to give big brother a run for his money. It's football at it's best and we call it the NFC Beast.
