Posted Tuesday March 24, 2009, About: Inside NFL's new 'Brady Rule'
The NFL is becoming the newest version of professional wrestling. Eventually, this "sport" is going to be seen for what it is becoming...entertainment with outcomes determined before the game even begins. I can hardly wait to hear Chris Berman yelling "Sunday! Sunday! Watch Tom Brady, The Pink Punisher, slice the air with passes that will amaze and confound you!"
The NFL will take on a safe stance: "No players were hurt during the course of this game."

As the NFL continues to pacify the game of football, perhaps they'll reduce the cost. I mean, the argument has always been that players' salaries were so high because their careers were so short and dangerous. Now that the NFL is making it so that there's no true violence to the game, that justification is lost.

By the way, someone termed the Chief that hit Brady was "charging". He was on his belly. I watched the game. I'd hardly envision an athlete charging while on his belly. Maybe they should include "belly charging" at the NFL combine.
Posted Friday December 05, 2008, About: Emmitt: Current Cowboys just 'mediocre'
That "goofy smile" is something that is missing in the game of professional football. Playing and enjoying it. Having fun. Romo is being paid big bucks, yes....but he loves the game. It's obvious. How many players have you seen cry because they screwed up (the Seattle botched field goal)? None. It's "Oh well, I made $1.5 million today. Let's party! Guns optional."
The posters here complain about the stories FanNation posts..but look at the comments...just as stupid half the time. I post rarely because I love football for the game..not because of the team I follow. The posts I read here are typically the crapola you'd expect from teenagers, not true fans of the game, but fans of one team.
Posted Wednesday October 01, 2008, About: Terrell Owens: I'm not upset with Romo
What makes me smile is that if the Cowboys were as hapless a team as the Bengals or Chiefs, the fans of their opponents wouldn't have anything to say. But they are a team to be reckoned with. So, rave on, Cowboy haters!
This is one of those glorious years when the NFC East is a division the other teams can only dream of...not just one good team and a bunch of losers...but a division that is dominating the entire league. I loathe the Redskins, Giants and Eagles, but I'm a football fan. Watching McNabb is always exciting. Campbell can be a great one someday. Eli is going to give big brother a run for his money. It's football at it's best and we call it the NFC Beast.

The best measure of a team's success is how much trash talk is generated in their direction by fans of their opponents. Keep talking Cowboy haters...it just proves the Cowboys are still good enough for you to hate. If they were as bad a team as you profess they are, there'd be no trash talking at all.

What Da Bloodclott...just get the hell out. Go to Africa if the freedoms you enjoy in America don't please you. That crap about having your own experiences and feelings is hardly unique...ok..wait...the way YOU spell...youneek...how's that?...better? Ever had the crap beat out of you for your skin color. I have..and I'm white! Just a bunch or poor repressed never had a chance black guys that didn't like that I said "hello". Ever been denied a job for your race? I have. Right after graduating high school I applied at General Telephone in Plano, Tx..and didn't get it...the woman said: "Sorry. I'd hire you but I have to hire a minority." So shut the "f" up!
Posted Sunday August 31, 2008, About: Huizenga's last Dolphins season?
It's hard to believe the Dolphins were once football's elite. It's like seeing a once millionaire living in a cardboard box drinking cheap wine from a bottle in a paper bag telling stories about the good old days. All of the teams have good years and bad years bust geez, the Dolphins haven't seen good since...hmmm. It's even sadder to see a team try to rebuild from castoffs from another team. Parcells will be in the HOF, but he's a dinosaur. His vision of football is archaic and won't do a thing for the Fins.
Posted Friday July 11, 2008, About: Favre an option for Ravens?
I get the idea that this site is just meant to provide shmucks a place to slander and degrade without the fear of an **** kicking. The Favre story is legitimate in that a legend past his prime is still a better option than many present quarterbacks that were in diapers when he started.

It sounds like Chiefs fans can soon expect venders roaming the stands selling tea and cookies.
