I'll grant that being a good human being might make him a lousier coach, but getting rid of Richt would be incredibly stupid. They might easily get another Ray Goff and spend 5 years as a .500 team.
If you go back far enough (and I do, alas, I'm 55) it's a racial thing and the African-American kids couldn't play in the SEC.

25 on the ACT is maybe good for a football player? It's roughly equivalent to an 1100 range score on the SAT. That'll probably put him in the bottom 25 percentile of the Stanford freshman class. It's even below average at UGA. But it's not bad.
Mind you, I'd try for UCLA or something, not Dirtbowl, Oklahoma.
