If Notre Dame made a coaching change and brought someone in who could actually develop the talent Tubby the Hutt has recruited they'd be on a whole other level then Northwestern. The fact is talent wise the teams do not stack up. The other reality is Charlie Subway can recruit he just cannot develop talent. His ego writes checks he can't cash.

And this guy shouldn't really be saying this crap. Northwestern hasn't won a bowl game since 1949 for crying out loud. And not to throw a low blow out there but the only reason the man has his job is the unfortunate passing of their last head coach.

all of the sports networks need to stop talking about the marlins....year after year there is talk of trading willis or whoever else the marlins have that is good.....selig's last act should be to dissolve the franchise so the rest of the baseball world's time will stop being wasted.....selig should have forced the marlins ownership out after the firesale after what they did after the 97 series.....not a marlins fan in anyway but that was a shame .........

"until they join a conference or win a bowl game under charlie weiss the rest of the football world won't give a damn" .......hahaha that statement is laughable. The entire country talks about Notre Dame on a regular basis. The Irish dominate the headlines for crying out loud. Whether its Charlie's malpractice suit or other people hating on Notre Dame, you can't deny we're one of the most common national topics. The resurgence of the most storied program in the history of college sports is on everyone's radar.

stearn will have no other option but to step down if this investigation finds that this gambling problem was league-wide and has been going on for several years.......this ref probably got leaned on by some wise guy in the first place to get himself in a stituation like this...not making excuses for him but anyone of you would snitch to save your family.............its time to hold refs accountable the same as the athletes......

so if we find out the ref fixed playoff games, possibly even championship games, does it nullify that season's playoffs? if games in question were the heat/mavs finals, do they take the title from the heat and just not have a champion or maybe even do a split title for that year?

Tim Dunca, while a highly skilled basketball player, has one whole in his game. He is probably one of the worst cry babies ever to play the game. The Cavs made it to the playoffs because of the Bulls' collapse during the last week of the season which gave them the Wizards minus arenas, the hapless nets, and your geriatric and much over-rated pistons. The only team in the east that could have beaten the cavs this year were the heat.

i'm not saying what he did is admissible but they are only animals afterall. Placing a bet on a dogfight is no better then placing a bet on an ultimate fighting championship. Sure, he went a little extreme if some of these accusations are indeed true but give him a hefty fine, some probation, and some therapy.
