Kiffin is a gidrool.
Yeah, his plan seems to be the buffet at Golden Corral with Bob Evans as a backup.
Despite the spin coming out of Notre Dame, the reality is that , once again, they couldn't get any Division I Head coach of any stature to express interest.
Their best bet is to tweak their schedule and load up on teams with losing records who place little emphasis on their football programs.
Wait a minute....
He should be up front and admit that he expects to get axed and that ND will aggressively go after Urban Meyer. Hell, he could name 69 other Division 1 "Head" coaches that had more successful programs than the one he ran in South Bend.
Sports Center's highlights of Notre Dame games just wouldn't be the same without him. Charlie and the Leprechaun are a great lead in.
Sort of reminiscent of a carny geek show.
It's as if Notre Dame revels in their dorkiness.
They're beautiful. They remain independent so they can can continue their storied rivalries with football powers llike San Diego State, Stanford and Syracuse.
Then they accept undeserved bowl bids so they can display their ineptitude one more time, not to mention screw a more deserving football team out of a trip.
And to top it off, they have their home boy Dick Ebersole broadcast all the home games nationally so everyone can enjoy their football prowess.
Sure he's incompetent and arrogant. But hell, he's an alumni, what did you expect?
Can't wait for the ND grads to start their annual whinefest that they can't compete because of their "high academic standards".
Yeah, Charlie's living proof.
But the facts are the facts. And the fact remains that the odor of 'the fix being in permeates the way the officials handled the last play of the Steelers game.
There are simply too many loopholes in how they handled this call. On the spot, in the booth, and the explanations afterward.
Mikes "insistence" defies belief.
Throw in the penalty ratio (13-2), and the $65 million dollar swing. That's one hell of a lot of coincidences. Not to mention Donaghy.
But according to Mike; The officials in the booth talked the referee" into such a confused state,"
Great breakdown on how the play was mishandled, Mike
Ok, let's move on. Mike says they talked the poor guy into a confused state.
Yeah, thats's the ticket, and I'm a Chinese avaiator.
He may have done his time alright.
But he's still a sick f***.
Ole Charlie steps up to call the plays against Navy and Syracuse. Hell, I could call the plays for them from down here in Florida against Syracuse and ND would win by 5 touchdowns.
It'll be interesting to see if Charlie is still calling the plays against USC.
Cuban should cut his losses now and cut a deal.
Otherwise he risks a Martha Stewart outcome. Oh and forget about the Cubs.
But one has to be a Major League a**hole to pull this crap when your team is undefeated past midseason in the NFL.
However, the fact of the matter is that Ebersole and NBC are losers for affiliating themselves with these chumps. Notre Dames 'tradition" is now one of over hype, disgraceful calls week in and week out by the referees in their favor, and still managing to be a crappy football team.
