Posted Wednesday October 14, 2009, About: Bowden leaning toward coming back
FSU Alumnus/radio sports talk host here in Tampa said that part of Bowdens' reluctance to leave is that his family is in financial straits due to some ill advised Real Estate investments.

Playing the race card is as American as apple pie. Obama proves it every day.

Hey, playing the race card is as American as apple pie. Milton's just following Obama's lead.

Classy comment. Al Sharpton would probably call it racist.

Kiffin is a gidrool.
Posted Saturday January 31, 2009, About: Romeo Crennel to Notre Dame?
"Yet the one thing you know about Weis is he always has a plan -- "

Yeah, his plan seems to be the buffet at Golden Corral with Bob Evans as a backup.
Posted Thursday December 04, 2008, About: Why Notre Dame kept Weis
Sweet.

Despite the spin coming out of Notre Dame, the reality is that , once again, they couldn't get any Division I Head coach of any stature to express interest.

Their best bet is to tweak their schedule and load up on teams with losing records who place little emphasis on their football programs.

Wait a minute....
Posted Tuesday December 02, 2008, About: Weis tells recruits he's safe
After the last two seasons, Charlie might have better recruiting success by leveling with the players.

He should be up front and admit that he expects to get axed and that ND will aggressively go after Urban Meyer. Hell, he could name 69 other Division 1 "Head" coaches that had more successful programs than the one he ran in South Bend.
Posted Sunday November 30, 2008, About: Blowout could be end for Weis
Charlie's got to stay.
Sports Center's highlights of Notre Dame games just wouldn't be the same without him. Charlie and the Leprechaun are a great lead in.
Sort of reminiscent of a carny geek show.
It's as if Notre Dame revels in their dorkiness.

They're beautiful. They remain independent so they can can continue their storied rivalries with football powers llike San Diego State, Stanford and Syracuse.

Then they accept undeserved bowl bids so they can display their ineptitude one more time, not to mention screw a more deserving football team out of a trip.

And to top it off, they have their home boy Dick Ebersole broadcast all the home games nationally so everyone can enjoy their football prowess.
Posted Sunday November 23, 2008, About: Is Weis done at Notre Dame?
C'mon Notre Dame. You can't get rid of Charlie. He's the personification of not only the football program, but the school itself.

Sure he's incompetent and arrogant. But hell, he's an alumni, what did you expect?

Can't wait for the ND grads to start their annual whinefest that they can't compete because of their "high academic standards".

Yeah, Charlie's living proof.
Posted Sunday November 23, 2008, About: Official: NFL games are not fixed
Ole Mile Periera can claim that "NFL games are not fixed" until the cows come home.

But the facts are the facts. And the fact remains that the odor of 'the fix being in permeates the way the officials handled the last play of the Steelers game.

There are simply too many loopholes in how they handled this call. On the spot, in the booth, and the explanations afterward.

Mikes "insistence" defies belief.

Throw in the penalty ratio (13-2), and the $65 million dollar swing. That's one hell of a lot of coincidences. Not to mention Donaghy.

But according to Mike; The officials in the booth talked the referee" into such a confused state,"

Great breakdown on how the play was mishandled, Mike

Ok, let's move on. Mike says they talked the poor guy into a confused state.

Yeah, thats's the ticket, and I'm a Chinese avaiator.
Posted Saturday November 22, 2008, About: Rodriguez to upset fans: Get a life
The way Rodriguez handled his exit from his alma mater West Virginia should have been a freakin clue to Michigan fans.
Posted Saturday November 22, 2008, About: More ugly evidence in Vick dogfighting case
Yeah, when Vick gets out, he and his idiot supporters can claim that he 's done his time.

He may have done his time alright.

But he's still a sick f***.
Posted Wednesday November 19, 2008, About: Weis calling Irish plays again
Beautiful.
Ole Charlie steps up to call the plays against Navy and Syracuse. Hell, I could call the plays for them from down here in Florida against Syracuse and ND would win by 5 touchdowns.
It'll be interesting to see if Charlie is still calling the plays against USC.
Posted Tuesday November 18, 2008, About: SEC lawyer getting back at Cuban?
Feds don't pursue charges in either civil or criminal court unless they have the goods. They have a 90% success rate.

Cuban should cut his losses now and cut a deal.

Otherwise he risks a Martha Stewart outcome. Oh and forget about the Cubs.
Posted Friday November 14, 2008, About: Weis alienates Irish supporters, recruits
Sounds like Charlie is the perfect match for Notre Dame.
Posted Friday November 14, 2008, About: Vince Young's attitude in question
It would be one thing if this was the Lions.

But one has to be a Major League a**hole to pull this crap when your team is undefeated past midseason in the NFL.
Posted Tuesday November 11, 2008, About: Weis in trouble at Notre Dame?
You'd think that with their own television network and their "tradition" that Notre Dame would be in a position to hire someone who actually had head coaching experience. Maybe even someone with a solid history of success at a BCS program.

However, the fact of the matter is that Ebersole and NBC are losers for affiliating themselves with these chumps. Notre Dames 'tradition" is now one of over hype, disgraceful calls week in and week out by the referees in their favor, and still managing to be a crappy football team.
