Canada got 3rd at the u17 world championships and 4th at the Fiba's. They beat a really good domincan republic team to be in this upcoming world championship tournament. Why are they not garnishing any respect. Also id love to point out that the oldest player on the Canadian National team is Jesse Young at the age of 30. The average age of the team going to the world championships in August is.. 25.9.

Thank you sir. Also Junior Cadougan was a highly touted prospect of the 09 class. Unfortunately he got hurt and had to sit the season out but all signs look to him being the starting PG for Marquette University.

All of you obviously don't follow young prospects. Tristian Thompson, Corey Joseph, both HS all americans in the states(born and represent Canada at the national level) are gone to Texas for there college years. Kris Joseph was arguably the best 6th man in all of college basketball last year on a great Syracuse Orange team, hes only going into his jr. season.

Coming up in the class of 2011 are another pair of great stars. Myak Kabongo is ranked the 2nd best pg in that class in all of north america and he is canadian(going to Texas).
