Posted Thursday August 13, 2009, About: Brewers claim D-Back off waivers
What an odd move...this to me means that either Suppan or Bush isn't coming back this year
Posted Friday August 07, 2009, About: Badgers add Ohio commitment
Joe Rudolph is doing good things in the state of Ohio, nice to see UW making a big mark in Ohio.
Posted Wednesday May 13, 2009, About: Alvarez in Wisconsin power struggle
Since Barry was hired UW athletics has basically been the Barry Alvarez show. Bottom line is the faculty at UW really should have no say in who's hired or fired. This is by no means as big of a story as people are making it out to be.
Posted Tuesday September 09, 2008, About: Darko '99 percent' sure he'll be Knick
I don't necessarily agree with who they're getting, but I do agree with what they're trying to do. Getting rid of Zach Randolph is a smart move..maybe Darko could fit in to the Knicks new up and down style..but I'm not totally sold that Darko would be a good fit.
Posted Saturday September 06, 2008, About: Why Pistons distance from Isiah
It's smart of the Pistons to do so. He was a great player and a horrible front office kind of guy as well as an awful coach. Isiah never really got what it takes to run a franchise to be in a non-players role with a franchise. It would have been interesting to see what the reasons are but they'll never be made public so we can only speculate on that. But, as I said this is smart of the Pistons
Posted Thursday August 21, 2008, About: Yost defends slumping Sheets
As a Brewers fan I'm a bit worried about his slump. He's not getting much run support so the runs he does give up are being magnified. I don't think he's getting a contract race with CC..because Sheets should know that he's not going to get the size of contract as CC. Anyways. Ben is running into the same problem some of our other pitchers ran into early in the year..that's the "big" inning. The big inning is different for every pitcher..and a 3 run in an inning for a guy who's supposed to be one of your aces is big. Bottom he needs to figure it out for us to have a chance in the playoffs. Go Brewers!
Posted Monday August 11, 2008, About: Cavs might be pursuing Mo Williams
As a Bucks fan I would love Mo Williams being traded. Mo's a decent player at best..takes way too many shots...more specifically takes way too many bad shots. I saw a lot from Ramon Sessions..so if this deal could happen...I would be a big fan of it. With all the shots last year that went off between Mo Williams and Michael Redd..we need to get rid of one..and I think that Mo Williams is the one that needs to go.
Posted Thursday June 19, 2008, About: Packers consider trading for Taylor
It would be a brilliant move by the Packers. I would love that move.
Posted Monday June 16, 2008, About: Bucks likely to trade a guard
Trading either guy would be a good move. It would be a great start for the rebuilding process for the Bucks, which needs to happen.
Posted Monday June 09, 2008, About: Colts rookie: NFL isn't so tough
He probably shouldn't have said that since it's only OTA's and just light little mini camps....wait until early August to speak of NFL practices Mike. When camp starts off his opinion is going to be much different.
Posted Tuesday June 03, 2008, About: Agent: Hall wants out of Milwaukee
I have several problems with this. First of all his agent went straight to the media with this..that's just dumb. Secondly he's been hitting a spectacular .158 against right handed pitching this year...there aren't going to be many teams who are going to give up anything worthwhile to help out the Brewers for a guy whose hitting .158 against righties.
Posted Saturday May 31, 2008, About: Pedro: We owe Mets fans for '07
Yep..the Mets are just having a meltdown now so they can be dominant the second of the year...solid logic
Posted Saturday May 31, 2008, About: Bucs cut one-time rookie wonder
Wow "rookie wonder" Bruce Gradkowski....apparently we're now classifying anybody who was a rookie who had a moderately good first year in the NFL a rookie wonder.
Posted Friday May 30, 2008, About: Young: I wasn't going to quit
He can't just stay away from the media he's a starting quarterback in the NFL. It's starting to look like VY isn't meant to be an NFL quarterback.
Posted Thursday May 29, 2008, About: Urlacher faces minicamp showdown
The guy who said the Bears should trade him..as a Packer fan I would love that. Urlacher saw Lance Briggs getting a big extension and he thought maybe he could get one too.
Posted Thursday May 29, 2008, About: Bulls GM shoots down Beasley rumor
Derrick Rose is going to be great...Beasley is going to be great as well. I think either pick would be great..although taking Beasley wouldn't really help out the Bulls out that much. The Bulls have plenty of power forwards..that's not their issue..they need to find a center.
Posted Thursday May 29, 2008, About: Tar Heels explains draft decision
Danny Green would have been a starter on most teams this past year. It just so happens he plays at UNC where he was a very good 6th man. He has to do what he thinks is right for him and his family. If one team thinks he's worth picking than he's done his job
Posted Friday May 23, 2008, About: Young sorry for Internet photos
Same exact opinion about this that I had about Matt Leinart..they're young guys who are going to and party. It's no big deal to me, what is the night before a Super Bowl? No. Let it go people.
Posted Tuesday May 13, 2008, About: Goodell: Nothing new from Walsh on SpyGate
I agree with Pow..and even if someone else does mess up it's still going to come back to the Patriots
Posted Tuesday May 13, 2008, About: Will Knicks go after Nash?
Not a good idea....Nash is in his late 30's and eventually this style of play is going to catch up to him...so if I was in charge of the Knicks I'd go out and get a young point guard who will be capable of running that offense for many many years to come.

I like Nash a lot, just wouldn't be the wisest move in the world
Posted Tuesday May 13, 2008, About: Goodell: Nothing new from Walsh on SpyGate
I still believe that something could come of this. There are still things that bother me about this....I saw a bit of the press conference..and from what I was trying to understand about what Goodell was saying...is that as Walsh was recording games he was handing off the tapes to someone from the Patriots(I forget his name and position). Now, to me it seems plausible that something could have come from these tapes that could be an in-game benefit.
