Posted Tuesday August 11, 2009, About: What Padraig told Tiger at Firestone
So now golfers are athletes, huh? Yeah, right. It was an outstanding match. Tiger is the extraordinarily gifted and Harrington proved himself a worthy opponent, but athletes? I don't think so.

Better dancers in Miami. Wear less clothes. Better bodies.

Attorney's can sometimes be the scum of the earth. This brings back to mind the recent episode of the attorney in New Jersey shopping the tape of VP Biden's daughter allegedly doing lines of cocaine for a network payoff for his client. Aren't they supposed to have standards?

I think he's a Kurt Rambis type. Put him on a running team with a true center, a flashy point guard and a good wing man, he'll flourish. You don't win all those awards in these modern times if you can't play.
Posted Friday January 02, 2009, About: Report: Barkley cites sex as reason for speeding
Well, he always said he wasn't a role model; at least he was truthful on that. I'm just waiting to see what Mrs. Barkley has to say on the matter.
Posted Saturday November 29, 2008, About: Why Barkley ripped LeBron
At least this advice is coming from a man who knows about bad decisions as a player: spitting on a fan, elbowing an undermatched Olympic opponent, numerous stupid comments ("I'm not a role model")....but HE'S RIGHT this time. LeBron is handling this NY trade rumor in a very disrespectful manner. Disrespectful to this teammates, the Cleveland fans and the legacy of the game.

Posted Friday November 28, 2008, About: Marbury doesn't trust D'Antoni
I'm no fan of spoiled players particularly Stephon Marbury, but the Knicks are being childish and bull-like in not releasing him for the good of the team. It's much like taunting in public. An organization should be above this.

Not a story.
Posted Wednesday September 24, 2008, About: Why U.S. team thrived without Tiger
Jonis, I agree partially with you. Only the media thought Tiger's absence was going to be so substantial. Fact is, other than for publicity's sake, he really hadn't mattered in the Cup matches. Where I disagree is your belief that his return or non-return makes no difference at all. He is the world's best and at the top of his game. There might be another guy to adore, but the world will only see one Tiger Woods.

JoeFord...might you read what I posted and interpret it with the meaning I so obviously intended? I offered congratulations; You offer criticism. Seems some of you hate Tiger more than you love the Ryder Cup victory. That's called....childishness.

Not honoring Torres was a low blow:; not honoring Clements can't be criticized.
Posted Tuesday September 23, 2008, About: Why U.S. team thrived without Tiger
I knew there had to be a Tiger story on the Ryder Cup victory sooner or later. My take: Congratulations to America! You did it to no fault or criticism of Tiger. Can't we just leave it that?

Posted Wednesday September 17, 2008, About: Tiger: I will not attend Ryder Cup
I've yet to hear how Tiger's poor Match play makes the others play as poorly? He kicks the butt of everyone who is higher in the lost column than he. Perhaps your criticism is misdirected. Either way, he's not here this year, lets see what the "winners" can do without his losing percentage. Hopefully, it inspires them to make a statement by winning the Cup. Hopefully, it even carries over to the PGA season and makes them offer him some competition for a change. That would be welcome by all of us...especially all of you Hate-Tiger-All-The-Time whinners.

Joe F...I doubt if he has the "worst single record" for the U.S. That seems a little far-fetched. And, if he's responsible for dragging down players when he plays poorly, who's responsible for them staying down when he's wins so much and so often?
