Everyone knows T.O.'s better days are gone. But his numbers this year don't tell the entire story. You have to look at the team they are on. Do you think his numbers would be like this if he was playing in New England, Indy, Minnesota, Dallas? Remember Randy Moss when he played in Oakland? A receiver has to have a QB, Line, RB, and Coordinator to have a great year.

Heck forget about Buffalo. We all knew their team wasn't that good. I'm just waiting for someone to tie T.O. into why Dallas lost at GB. Maybe Romo was daydreaming about the good old T.O. days :-)

If you are looking for a stranger to mentor kids than you have other issues. Also to be honest you don't know T.O. form any other person. Look to someone you know like a teacher or pastor. Don't look to your TV for a mentor who plays football or any other sport.

It appears everyone does. Just look at how much interest he gets when something happens? If no one cared he would not be on T&R or ESPN highlights, etc.

Why would you be through as a baseball fan? I don't understand why people get mad at the Yankees for paying their players. I guess some of you would be happy if the Yankees brass kept all of the money and paid the players nothing.

You made an interesting point. So Boras is an idiot because he represents his customer in an unrealistic way that gets them top dollar? I think the problem is he generally get his clients what they want and for some reason us "fans" have a problem with that. Also how many players that are represented by Boras don't get a contract? I mean really.

You have got to be kidding me. I'm so amazed how we love to put TO name out. Dallas was 9-7, 13-3, 9-7 in his 3 years in Dallas. In his first year Romo messed up the kick. Crayton drop a sure first down in the playoff game against NY in his second year. And Philly crushed them in the last game in his third year. Now if the defense would have 1/2 way showed up in the last 3 games Dallas would have been in the playoffs. Dallas also lost too many players last year to injuries.

Now I'm not saying TO didn't cause problems but please it is time to let it go. People just love to complain!

I know the chic thing is the hate Scott Boras but if he was that bad he would not have clients. The agent's job is to get his client the best possible deal. If Damon wanted less he would tell Boras he wants less. If the ball club doesn't want to pay a Boras client they will not. Plain and simple. Not sure whey we act like Boras is making clubs pay these players. I guess Boras should say hey Johnny, I think I can get you a 3 year deal for 10M a year but that is way too much for you. Why not take a 3 year 2M deal instead.

Again no one is making the ball clubs pay the players. They have to power to say NO!

It is the same. I can't hate on an athlete because the do something that pays them millions of dollars. I wish it was me! But we can't expect loyalty to be one way. Why should a player be loyal when the team doesn't have to be and most of the time they are not.

Hmm this got me thinking. Are the fans or team loyal to the players? How much do we complain if a team cuts a player or make them redo their contract? If we think it will help our team we are all for it. In sports if a player can help my team I love them. If they can't I want them gone.
