I agree he is a tall dude, and can play in the paint. But this is Miami's offense. And this in the nature of 3pt shots. Like Spo says, if he hits one of those, it's a different conversation.

Such is the nature of 3pt shooting. Not sure why targeting just Bosh. Battier was stone cold and other players shot some bricks from the arc as well.

Ok, so if the Clippers would not have fired Vinny w/o CP saying so, and if CP is saying he had nothing to do with it, then just rehire Vinny. He was never actually fired, so it's just a case of taking longer than usual to sign a new contract.

Yeah, deciding on the head coach is important. Not sure if they are waiting to resolve the situation with Howard first, or if they plan to keep D'Anotoni, regardless. If they let D'Antoni go, it will be interesting to see who gets the job. Hollins might be available.

A lot of problems for the Lakers to solve, and Kobe has the potential to present a few of his own. But I agree, a lot are unrelated to Kobe (Kobe can't make Nash any younger, for example).

I think Phil is great, but he is becoming the official NBA casual consultant/interloper. He really needs to find a job and stop annoying the heck out of everyone.

The fundamental problems with the Lakers last year are the same now: no speed in the backcourt, poor perimeter/transition defense, poor transition offense, no bench scoring.

If they bring back Howard and Gasol, that won't fix those problems. Phil says he knows a way, and that would not include D'Antoni. But there has to be more than just changing the head coach.

His drop in rebounds is what I think hurt him the most. He did not drive on offense, but he improved his 3pt shooting when he was with the Spurs.

Also, as eddie says, he can't be ac'd. GS used their AC already. And even if they hadn't, because RJ was traded to GS after the new cba, he can't be ac'd.

Probably one of the most frustrating players for fans to watch. When he was in SA, he would be on the floor 30+mins. A decent defender and some games he would shoot well and rack up some points. But most games he had incredibly low #s, especially boards. It was like he wasn't trying.

At any rate, the consolation for GS is they got the Spurs #1 pick last year when they got RJ, which they turned into Ezeli.
