He's got some stiff competition from all reports on Montee Ball, but I would like to see him prove it. He had every opportunity last year when McGahee went down, but the coaching staff didn't feel confident enough in what they saw to give him the reigns.
Fact is such an absolute, indisputable term and I don't think it applies properly here. Time will tell, but I will still be rooting for him and think he deserves the chance.
There are those who choose to root for him and those who choose to root against him. Not a whole lot of middle ground with Tebow. He made a fan out of me when he was with the Broncos. One of the funnest seasons I've had in a long time. I choose to root for him.
Probably because he took over for a 1-4 team and improbably took them to the playoffs and a first round victory. Was he a great QB during that span? NO. But he got it done somehow and it was a great story. Things like that will buy a player some opportunities. One season with the worthless Jets won't wipe that all away. Other than that what are all the other so many chances you are referring to?
So was BB just pulling one over on his former OC at the time by showing interest himself? Not that I would put it past him for a moment. He was probably rolling on the floor once he saw McD take the bait.
So you think this sounds like a good idea?? Yes, players will play and do what they must, but that doesn't dismiss the miriad of reasons this is a horrible idea. Greed is the only reason they would go ahead with this despite the logistical nightmares it creates.
Sorry, read that wrong. I now see the err in my ways. Thought that was just a little too much to be true. Not caring enough to look up the actual points/game rank.
Wow, 3rd in yards/game and 27th in points/game is hard to fathom. How does that even happen?? Lots of prevent D's that tighten up near the goal line I guess.
Tannehill played well last year and with another year and more weapons to play with should do even better. It is hard to argue that they don't have the best receiving corps in that division.
True story. Plus the conversation he had with Ellis afterwards says it all. He knew there was bad blood with Carlos from the first pitch and he still "let one get away" and then acted like a tough guy afterwards. I don't like Quintin one bit, but am tired of everybody acting like Greinke was the choir boy in this mess.
In Cutler's last year in Denver he had the fewest sacks in the NFL. Just a little perspective for you. Yes, when you know you aren't going to have much time to get rid of the ball you have to make adjustments, but I don't put that all on Cutler. Having Martz's offense along with that line didn't help matters at all either.
If they can gety that O-line playing half way decent I can see him having a pretty good year.
