They should interview Carmichael and it should come down to he and Philbin, not McCoy. Dump Ireland and get Shula involved!
Posted Wednesday January 26, 2011, About: Dolphins may stick with disappointing QB
Let's face it, Henne is a failure and Pennington is far to accident proned. The quarterbacks in free agency aare either no good, over-the-hill or problem children. The Dolphins need to draft a quarterback plain and simple even if it means trading up to do so. I've been a fan since before the perfect season and if they don't make a smart move this year, I'm done, it's to painful to watch.
Posted Tuesday November 16, 2010, About: No decision to be made on McGrew's future until offseason
Rick Hendrick has now declared that all race track parking attendants must take money with their left hand, rather than their right to help Jr. Most say that it has nothing to do with Jr's problems, but we all know it could NEVER be Jr's fault, so we're willing to try anything at this point.
Posted Tuesday November 16, 2010, About: No decision to be made on McGrew's future until offseason
You're right Mr. Nice, we don't know what's in his head, but racing doesn't seem to be. All I keep hearing is what personnel changes they're going to make next to make him successful. They've blamed everyone but him thus far. It may actually be time to face some facts here.
Posted Tuesday November 16, 2010, About: No decision to be made on McGrew's future until offseason
I heard that Jr. has said that if they would switch to selling bun-length hot dogs at the track instead of the foot-longs that he could win every race. Let's face it, it's NEVER his fault.

For the record I've been a Tony Stewart fand ince his rookie season in cup.
Posted Tuesday August 17, 2010, About: Junior's Chase hopes continue to fade with 19th-place finish
Why is it that if someone says something bad about Jr. they're a Kyle Busch fan? For the record, I am not a Kyle Busch fan, nor do I dislike Jr. I just don't think he's a very good driver.
Posted Monday August 16, 2010, About: Junior's Chase hopes continue to fade with 19th-place finish
He is a very average driver. Nationwide isn't cup, so it doesn't count and all but one win came while at DEI. One win in the last how many races? Oh, and didn't he only get that win because it was rain-shortened? Cheer for whomever you like, but there are a ton of people cheering for other drivers. I really doubt NASCAR would fold without Jr. or Jeff Gordon. Jr's father was one of the biggest in the sport and it survived even his death.

Joey blamed Ryan for racing too hard, but failed to lift and caused the spin himself. All well and good, but admit to it Joey, don't blame the other guy for racing too hard. Newman still has a shot at the chase, so I don't blame him for being mad, especially after Joey denied causing it.

Let's face it. he's only and average driver at best. Stop trying to make NASCAR revolve around him. There are some good drivers in the chase that should be gettineg the press. Write about them and leave this alone.
Posted Tuesday August 03, 2010, About: Earnhardt Jr. laments team struggles
Most of his wins came via restrictor plate races while at DEI. While he did drive well in those races without a doubt, DEI obviously had something figured out in restrictor plate races that nobody else came close to. It seemed at the time that when Jr. didn't win Michael Waltrip did. Since then it's been a very dry spell for him and he just hasn't driven very well. He's with the top team and his teammates are all doing well. They've spent the entire offseason with a goal of making Jr. better. Crew chiefs, pit members, etc, have not worked. He seems like a nice enough guy, but let's face it, he's not driving very well.

Johmson caused one hell of a wreck this time. He's not going to be happy until he kills someone. Had this been almost anyone else everyone would be calling for fines and points to be taken away.

It's NEVER Jr's fault.

Posted Wednesday July 07, 2010, About: Stewart: 'Zero chance' starting third team
Oh, and what is clearly unconstitutional is for the federal government to force states and individuals to buy into a government-mandated national healthcare plan. If you care to debate law, I can do it all day long.
Posted Wednesday July 07, 2010, About: Stewart: 'Zero chance' starting third team
I put the blame on BO because he caused it. A trillion dollar health care bil that we the people didn't want, a trillion dollar stimulis bill that hasn't done any good. I'm a member of the Tea Party and want all of this stupid overspending stopped. I would also like to see the borders secured and cap and trade killed in congress. During the first stock market crash (not the one causing the great depression), the Fed was cut in half by size and across the board taxes cut as well. The country rebounded quickly and unemployment fell. It can work again. Right now it's hard to believe companies can afford to sponsor NASCAR.
Posted Wednesday July 07, 2010, About: Stewart: 'Zero chance' starting third team
In a different enonomy, I'm sure he would put in a third team even if only to experiment with set-up, etc. Right now president BO has things far to screwed up to expand.

Jr. owns up?????? It's the car, it's the track, it's the crew, it's my crew chief, it's the tires, it's these new tampons. Cut me a break! Oh and by the way, you're right about one thing, for Jr., 11th is as good as it gets.
Posted Tuesday July 06, 2010, About: Junior complains about Daytona surface
SVT: Jr. has NEVER taken the blame for anything. Next to Jeff Gordon, he's the biggest cry-baby the sport has ever seen. Not to mention, he's just not a very good driver. Maybe he should go back to Nationwide where he at least had some success.
Posted Tuesday July 06, 2010, About: Drivers oppose Chase changes
I much preferred the old format.

There's a hot dog vendor at Daytona that caused all of his problems maybe? It's NEVER his fault.
