There's a difference between staying positive and being delusional.
Seriously if you're delusional then your "motivational" speech gets tuned out by the people you're trying to motivate. Worse you provide bulletin board material for the other team starting with Green Bay.
The X-Factor is always JJ. Will he be able to coexist with another high profile coach? He had Jimmy Johnson and ran him out of big D. The Tuna left just as the team was really coming together.
Also Cowher's a great motivator but remember he only has one ring out of two SB appearances and numerous AFC championship games. It's not a lock that he delivers the hardware.
They've lost Kolb pure and simple. There are only 4 ways this turns out
1. Vick keeps winning and takes the Eagles to the playoffs. Kolb is gone but Vick is the new starter
2. Vick stinks it up and Reid keeps him in there. Both Kolb and Vick say see ya
3. Vick stinks or gets hurt. Kolb comes in but fails. Kolb is gone.
4. Vick stinks or gets injured, Kolb comes back in and somehow leads them to the playoffs. The LEAST likely scenario is the only one where Kolb stays with this team after this season.
