Cowboys fan and I didn't care for our draft much. Travis Frederick, the center from Wisconsin, might be a good player but Dallas needed a whole bunch of O-linemen and D-linemen and all they got was a center.
Yeah, it's trendy to make fun of Romo but his career's not over. He could still conceivably win a championship.
And if he does all Cowboys fans will remember him fondly. Look at Elway, good stats throughout his entire career. But he's a legend because he won right before he retired.
Not saying Romo is a lock to follow the same path, obviously, but it certainly could happen and if it does all you haters are gonna be eating your words.
All I can say is this - if you're a Cowboys fan and a Romo hater, you're gonna realize how lucky you were to have Romo on your team once he retires.
Cowboys fans have short memories. Nobody remembers Drew Hutchinson and Clint Steorner and Quincy Carter, apparently.
Point is, all the other QB's we've had since Aikman have been pathetic. Dallas lucked into Romo and still Cowboys fans swear he's the enemy. It's madness, I tell ya. Madness...
Dallas is already hurting for cap space, in no small part because they already have over 16 million tied up at the quarterback position.
We know Flynn is an expensive backup, hence the thread here. We also know Flynn doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of beating out Romo for the starting QB gig. Meaning by acquiring Flynn Dallas would actually just be acquiring an overpriced backup, which would be pretty stupid considering the aforementioned cap issues.
Everybody who's bashing Alex Smith should take a step back and reevaluate. The guy was playing at an extremely high level.
Kaepernick looks like a nice player but folks shouldn't be in such a rush to see Smith lose his gig. Sometimes fans are so short sighted they miss the entire forest from focusing so hard on a single tree.
Point being, if you're bashing Alex Smith you're sort of an idiot.
There are bad people from every large organization in the world. That's not making excuses for any pedophiles or anything. It's simply pointing out that you will find a bad seed in every crowd.
Judging an ENTIRE organization of people based off a small percentage of theiir overall population is short sighted.
Oregon is the NCAA's best offense. They may have only mustered 14 points (so far) against Standford but they're still a great team with an unbelievable college offense.
He'd be a fool to retire. Nobody would retire if they were in Tebow's shoes. ESPN's analysts can talk about Tebow as much as they want and the Jets' coaches can use him however they want but none of that is in Tebow's control, and he'd be stupid to retire just because some people are tired of hearing about him.
Pretty weak.

QB is one of Dallas' strengths, no matter what the ESPN talking heads and fans blindly say. Romo isn't the problem, end of story.

<takes off wishful thinking cap>
Unfortunate.
Year after year the Cardinal defeat top-ranked opponents, even though Stanford (post-Luck Stanford, anyway) isn't necessarily a top team themselves.
