this is the beginning of his desire to create the mega-team that Wade was talking about. Wade wears #3, Bosh #4 and now LeBron will be #6! who will be #2 and #5 on this team!? maybe #5 will be Amare since he currently wears #32 (3 + 2 = 5)! wow, this team is going to be crazy! can't wait!!! all these free agents on the same team will be great! only one spot to fill for the #2 jersey! who will that be!? i must know!!!!!

nash probably is the better athlete, but this is a tv show. shaq provides a much greater entertainment value. he has the personality and familiarity that draw in the general public to generate ratings much more than nash would. just compare their twitter followers... nash: 80,291. shaq: 2,006,210

that is why any producer or someone investing in the success of the show would pick shaq over nash to be the 'star'. athletic ability isn't the only factor with regards to the success of the show.

it wasn't that funny, but was clearly a joke. i didn't find it offensive at all. (and yes, some race, ethnic and gender jokes are funny as hell. you should get a copy of the chapelle show ;) )

SAM MITCHELL should be the next wolves coach... not sure why he's not being seriously considered. he would be great with the young players they're trying to develop and he has a history with the franchise.

he said "i want kobe bryant to get number 4" not that he wants it this year necessarily. maybe he just means at some point or something different entirely. we all know shaq likes to play with words. if he said "i want kobe bryant to win the championship this year" it would be different.

yes i'm reading way too much into this, but isn't that what this comment section is for?

i didn't watch the entire game but i did see some of the first half and most of the second half, and as i watched i kept thinking to myself: the nuggets can not get a call in the paint on either end of the floor. i remember numerous plays were a nugget who would go to get a rebound and would get knocked around a lot, but not call. then shortly thereafter a laker would get a call in their favour for something much less.

i'm not saying someone was paid off of this game is fixed, but i definitely noticed a bias towards the lakers in game 5, without a doubt. and i'm not really a fan of either team, just the game in general. i want this series to go to 7 games (hopefully with overtime).
