Notre Dame? Michigan?
Do you think that they have a team of people? Are the paid, or all volunteers?
Those are the ND questions that I want answered.
Also, if I was a recruit right now I would probably prefer OSU. They have a good coach who has his system entrenched. Michigan has a new coach running a new system, and no one really knows how it is going to work out.
Are you Maurice Clarett? The level of intelligence and mastery of the English language displayed in your posts is pretty much on par with what I would expect from him.
"If you actually went to college, maybe you should have spent some more time in class working on a degree, and less time getting your head hit. As far as playing college sports, we can be anything we want to be on these boards, CAN'T WE? So sure, I played college ball, just like you...right? I'll bet you were an All-American too, huh? Hell, you've probably played a little pro ball too, no doubt. As long as we can be anything we want to be, DREAM BIG!!"
What makes you think I don't have a degree? I actually have a double-major in IT and Finance and I am about 1/2 way through my MBA in Marketing. From a top 25 program.
I never said I played football, I said I played competitive sports. Rugby. I wasn't bad, but I wasn't great either.
I noticed that you didn't defend your argument at all. Instead you just attacked me personally while offering no rebuttal whatsoever to my comments. Probably because you are wrong. And stupid. Definitely stupid.
Actually, I'm not stupid. I think you're just a little ignorant. First of all, I never said he WOULD be a starting tailback, I said IF. Second, as I stated, his comments are certain to be taken out of context. If you don't think an opposing player/coach would use his quote for motivation, then you really don't understand competition. Motivation is HUGE, and you take it where you can get it. In this case, Mr. Hart has provided motivational material to use against him - SHOULD THAT NEED ARISE. Taken out of context though it may be, it's still out there. Now do you understand?
There's nothing quite like the feeling of being called stupid by someone who actually is.

Oh, I guess that it misunderstood.
No, wait, I didn't. You're stupid.
Do you honestly think that in 2-3 years, IF he is a starting tailback, that some coach is going to dig up that ambiguous quote and it will actually get the defense fired up?
Coach: "alright team, 3 years ago before he had even played in a game this guy said that NFL OTA's weren't as tough as he expected them to be."
You are off your nut if you think that would actually happen. I would hope that the coach would be able to do a little better than that if he was trying to motivate his team. Also, wouldn't the coach be trying to get his team fired up to win the game, not just knock the crap out of some tailback? Wouldn't you want your team fired up at the other TEAM, not just ONE GUY?
Also, I know a little something about competition, having played competitive sports at the collegiate level. Have you?
Eyes wide open, you particularly. Do you think that other NFL teams are really that worried about bulletin board material for a backup running back? (assuming he even wins that job) Never mind the fact that it was taken out of context completely. The guys says that practices aren't as tough as he thought they would be, goes on to praise the organization and say that there is more teaching going on than he thought there would be (probably why they aren't as fast and tough as he thought), and all of a sudden everyone thinks he was calling NFL players soft, and the Ray Lewis is going to level him. I don't think that Ray Lewis is too worried about Mike Hart right now.
On a personal level, the DUI is the least of Huggin's baggage. The fact that the DUI came while leaving a 17 year old recruit's house is actually worse than the DUI itself, IMHO.
My problem with Huggins is the behavior that he tolerates from his players. Huggin's kids are not student athletes, but rather a bunch of thugs he digs up to play basketball (there have been exceptions, but not all that many).
So for you to somehow insinuate that what Rich did was worse than the things that Huggins has done, you simply don't have a leg to stand on.
