Suspicious - Yes and well explained by M-F

Probable - No - which is right's arguement (to me) and also correct but not the question of the TD

I disagree, he could hold it...just couldn't wear it. :)
Posted Monday August 20, 2012, About: Rick Reiley is a hypocrite!
Reiley can be irritating, but in this case he is not wrong. WWJ is doing a nice job on this one. There is injustice to the other conference teams that may not get a big bowl bid because of the arrangements granted to ND
While the idea of shutting down Penn State is beyond ludicrous, dramatically reducing their state funding, and reducing football scholarships for a 4 year period would serve a painful message
It depends on what the meaning of "is" is.

An alltime Clintonism
Once upon a time Enberg was the play by play radio announcer for the LA Rams. He was actually much better then than he was a national football announcer. It was easy to visualize the game when he called it.
Lag? what lag?
worth saying twice
I am not a Philly apoogist, but lets be fair to the city when one idiot embarrasses the whole hockey world and Philadelphia by taking a cheap shot at a Ranger fan at a Cheesesteak joint well away from the event. Later it was learned of the war vet status.

The Flyer fans give a standing ovation (no prompting necessary like there is in NJ) for a man or woman who is recognized for serving their country.

Eagle fans sadly have earned their reputation
Have been to some away games with the Raiders and used to go to a lot of LA Raider games.

First, every city I go to see the Raiders the restaurants/bars are always in fear before they get there and end up saying they are actually the most fun loving group that travels to away games. The costumes create more of a Mardi Gras environment than anything else.

Second, the coliseum is in a questionable area and the bloods and crips would attend but there was a truce and they were well behaved. I saw away fans heckled a bit -- KC fans got the worst of it, but never saw anything close to physical threats or violence.
I almost want to vote left just cuz he used "Los Angeles Kings" and "Stanley cup... Champions" in the same sentence

I thought the Padres would get a vote
Posted Friday May 04, 2012, About: The least skilled sportsmen in sport are...
In the WSJ there is an article that addresses this. One jockey is quoted as saying it is 95% Horse and 5% Jockey.

I think I am taking my que from the guy who rides the horse for a living.
Metta can serve a role and they seem to like him in the clubhouse. Amare is a disaster - which makes both choices GS and NJ viable candidates for him.

Three years ago I would have said the Clippers

Heck, and all this time I thought the horse was doing most of the work running around the track with a man on its back.
Posted Saturday April 21, 2012, About: soccer vs nfl
The TD concept actually is very intriguing, matching a globally loved game against a US-centric sport. Too bad HCF doesn't really bring home the argument on behalf of futbol.

I expected to read about the constant motion of the game, the athleticism, the finesse, the skills required.... certainly not about bounty hunting and sissies in shoulder pads
Bradshaw, for instance, has been argued to be in that category
McNabb was a very good QB. I hope the NFL does not lower its standards and allowing "very good" to be the new standard for the HOF
this is a light hearted TD, let it go
I just hope the glass slipper fits. Baseball is a better place when the Dodgers are competitive.
I'll wait until the arguements are completed, but right now I am leaning right
Posted Thursday April 12, 2012, About: Should the baseball Hall of Fame ban PED users?
It clear to me that the entire Baseball insider world knew what was going on with PED's including Players, Coaches, Writers and Management. AND all of them got richer because of it. So who is really guilty -- only those who are proven to have violated the "rule" or should we include those who knew but have plausible deniability.

I've done a 180 on this -- put them all in (deserving) or keep them out. Give them a separate wing in the Hall and call it the PED Era Wing -- (PEW)
