you know when you're at a nice restaurant having a dinner that includes a nice porterhouse. you're about halfway through and during one bite the piece of steak you're trying to swallow gets lodge sideways in your throat. at first you're not worried thinking it will go down. but then you start to panic when you realize it's not going down any further and you're realizing you can't breathe. you know that sound you start to make when your body tries to dislodge the piece of steak. if i could spell that sound, i'd write it here. it's spelled something like CHOKE.

as for tiger being on the US ryder cup team, obviously he doesn't deserve it because he's played like crap this year and his game appears to still be in the toilet even at BMW. but it is all about $$$$$. without tiger, not many in the united states will be watching the ryder cup. look at the TV ratings for tournaments when tiger plays vs. when he doesn't play. whether you like him or not, tiger is a major cash cow when it comes to TV ratings. which means if you don't like him, you're in the minority.

there goes jonisagolfmoron again thinking he knows everything. european fans are polite?? yeah and i've got ocean front property in kansas you'd be interested in. they will be relentless towards tiger and every other american. personally i like the ryder cup and the rowdy fans. kind of makes it more like a real sport. does anyone remember when mark mcquire was in that golf challenge thing against other amateurs and pros. he told the crowd to start yelling like he was at the plate when he was standing over a 7 iron. he stuck it within 2 feet of the pin. now that was cool.
