But I have to agree. Anyone who knew anything about baseball would not put this on truth and rumors. NON-STORY

Heres how it works. If you take out the hometown factors, the guy is a terrible fielder, plain and simple. There are three reasons that Manny is still in the field:
1) David Ortiz is an even worse fielder.
2) DHing wouldn't make Manny happy, and you gotta keep Manny happy. (by the way, this maturity you all speak of, we'll see. It's easy to be happy with your lot and not b*ing manny-style after you win a WS. the Sawx start struggling and Manny stays "mature" then we'll talk about the new Manny.)
3) The guy has mastered the Monster. This is the trick to the idea that he's "not a bad fielder". You put him anywhere but the small left field of Fenway for 81 games a year, and he'll struggle like he does on the road. He knows every bounce off that wall. He won't leave Boston, he'd have to DH anywhere else.
That being said, the guy is one of the best right handed hitters in baseball history. No doubt about that.
Get over yourselves. He may not be the best manager in the world, but he's a guy that everyone on the team enjoys playing for, because they know he's got their back.
Kenny Williams is not a "boner". He's a very creative and intelligent GM. Did you think Torii hunter would fix the team? The guy is old and getting older, not worth the money over the amount of years that the Angels paid. It was a smart pass. He went out and got Nick Swisher instead, a star on the rise. Everyone thought he was an idiot for trading Carlos Lee to the Brewers for Scott Podsednik and Luis Vizcaino, that trade was only a major catlyst to the White Sox winning the World Series.
If Kenny believes Crede is healthy, he'll hold him and make sure he gets the most for him. I he is healthy his stock will rise, Crede is a good ballplayer.

I've never dealt with it as a professional athlete, but yes. There is still an effect while using it, but again, with proper dosing and tolerance it is managable.

To an extent, so do I.
Farewell to a qb
They have nothing to do with our team beside the fact that we share a home city and we play them six times a year. A FACT may be more partial to the cubs than the sox, but thats nothing more than saying I am more partial to the Cardinals than the Cubs.
The tigers still have holes in their pen that will be a weakness. The Indians stand as having the best chance to top them in the central as the rest of the division, including the White Sox, are much weaker. Our only chance stems from our rotation. Contreras and Buerhle have to pitch more like they did in 2005, Vazquez needs to reach his potential that he's been failing to reach his whole career, and finally the two youngins (likely Danks and Floyd) who will be pulling the downside of our rotation, have to have breakout years and post at least a .500 record. The lineup has the potential to be bruising, but it's going to be meaningless if they can't keep runs off the board.
