Not so much of a rebuilding year but adding depth to the roster. We had a pretty solid squad last season and we were really just missing a left-sided midfielder, a backup defender, and a 2nd striker. I assumed Bruce was just going to fill the holes with one or two additions and the draft picks filling the rest of the roster. Now we are just in WTF do we do mode.

*My bad -- it's on Thursday.

lol, I actually wouldn't mind Adu. We need someone on the left side of the field anyways and maybe LD can sit his ass down and have him chronicle his career on how to get it on the track.

Anyone watching the Super Draft tomorrow? I'm hoping LA finds a gem because it looks like our wheels are falling off heading into the 2011 season. So far it's not looking good: Sent our 1st developmental player to Chivas USA, traded a young talented MF in L.Sassano for an aging Frankie Heyduk, haven't signed JPA yet, Buddle doesn't resign and opts for a pay day in situation that could have him playing 3rd-tier division in Germany, Beckham showing again he is not focused for the upcoming season, bringing in injury-prone Adam Cristman as a forward option, and to top it off the biggest blow for Galaxy fans -- having Cobi Jones leave the Galaxy to become one of the faces for the NY Cosmos and direct the club.

lol - I'm down to join the "set". There's nothing wrong with having 2 different crews on FN. Good things come in pairs.

You have:
- Deep Impact, Armageddon.
- Wyatt Earp, Tombstone.
- John Rooney, Wayne Rooney.
- Panda Express, Yoshinoya Beef Bowl.

"We can work together. This can help us, if anything, I think. We're fine. We're golden." (Knocked Up).

It's definitely a playground, but the drive is crazy. Definitely the drive back allows you to reminisce of all the stuff that happened in LV. :)

Throwing up a game day chat tonight and tomorrow we are throwing up OLS so the FN'ers can be the 1st to test out the site. Here are some of the features:

*OLS Tracker: Keep track of your favorite players with OLS Tracker - which will provide news, videos, recent match highlights, social tracking such as a Facebook feed & Twitter updater, All-time featured post about the players, and plenty more.

*Catch A Match: We will provide listings of where and how you can watch upcoming matches on tv or online.

*Video Library: We will provide 1,000 + soccer related videos in our OLS Video Library. We have channels dedicated to your favorite video features and shows such as ("Goal.com's Kickaround"), ("Colbert on Soccer" - all of Stephen Colbert's coverage of soccer), (U.S. Soccer match highlights from 1990 - present), (USA WC Matches, 50', 90', 94', 98', 02', and 2010), and plenty more.

*Instant Messaging: This was always a feature on the site - where you could chat with another member through IM. It is similar to Facebook and you could actually chat through OLS to other social sites like Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Google, AIM, and several others. So you can go on OLS and chat with the members there and also chat with your friends from Facebook while still staying on onelovesoccer.

*Game Day Chat: Will be at anyone's request - if they want up during a particular game. As long as you have 3 other participants chatting during a match - it will be up for as long as you want. You have to request ahead. Other than that, the Game Day Chat will be up during important midweek matches and will always be up every Saturday and Sunday.

Not too sure how it is going to pan out. I know Chicago could use him big time and he would be getting pretty close to DP money. However I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce Arena tries to fill in the weak points on the team. Currently it's that 2nd forward position and Centerback position alongside Omar Gonzalez that needs focusing on. Gregg Berhalter might call it quits at the end of the season and relying on the Brazilian Leonardo would be too risky. With Adu - I think it's time he shows some humility and brings his ass back home.

I hear ya - he does give Cueball Casey plenty of room with his pace. Even if we don't get him I hope LA makes a move for a striker and defender next season. Maybe Adu and DeMerit next season? I wouldn't rule it out since LA is Don Garber's favorite child.

Ya he was playing some good ball when he joined last season, but his injury has him out for the whole year. I found it strange that we didn't go after a striker after both Mathis & Gordon left and Alecko is out for the seaon.

lol did anyone see Alecko on a date with Kim Kardashian? The story was on Digg that he was on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and he went on a blind date with Kim because they both have Armenian heritage.

lol ;) - I was comparing the aspect of Chivas to the Clips because they both are in the shadow of sharing arenas with greater teams(Lakers/Galaxy).

The Clippers in the era of 2003-2006 were the ****, then after that they went downhill. The traditional Clippers stank finally rubbed off on the players and they faded away. ;) They were fun to watch when they had Elton Brand, Maggette, Richardson, Cassell, and Darius Miles.

On another note I have a feeling LA might pick up Omar Cummings from Colorado next season - if no offers come in from Abroad for the Jamaican international. They desperately need a forward to compliment Buddle next season.

Also I think it's time Bob considers bringing in Sebastian Le Toux for camp. Man has he been lighting it up on a crappy team. They look promising for next year but Le Toux and Mwanga have been the only players keeping them alive in some games. Le Toux: 11 goals and 10 assists.

Let's hope so because the franchise lost all credibility when they went with the little league baseball approach by calling themselves after an already established club. It's like really? You're going to put the franchise in another club's shadow? I understood the approach but I knew it would always be tough to gain respect from both sides(American & Mexican fans). Let's hope we don't get any other teams going this route when they join the league. Chivas USA should just pick up the USL team and call themselves "So Cal United" and move to San Diego. I hate sharing a stadium with them - they're the LA Clippers to my Lakers.

Uh maybe you should read my whole comment, because I said they "rarely" run at defenders. And Holden has the technical ability to run at defenders - he has shown that countless times with Houston and if you watched the Gold Cup last year(I highly doubt it) he ran that midfield for the U.S. team. In games against Honduras & Mexico he ran at defenders several times and looked productive while doing so. Especially the 1st half against Mexico where he made Jose Antonio Castro look like a school boy by twisting and turning him. However that's normally not his game - he is more known to whip a ball in before taking on a defender. We all know that.
