Agreed, it 'could' be more of a disadvantage.
My point was if they were to be allowed to keep the points and just blame it on a engine maker or whomever then everyone would do the same.
Nascar sort of put themselves up against a wall here, they have no choice but to discipline the #20 team or everyone will try to get away with the same.

First off who's to say that valve stem did or did not create an unfair advantage? seems like you'd need some serious (expensive) testing to figure that out. The obvious problem being if they can blame someone else and get to keep the results...... mayhem breaks out.

I think Nascar probably does not want Denny to even be considered, why? well wouldn't it water down the entire Championship if a driver that sat out 3+ races were to be crowned champ?

Granted if he finishes in the top 20 he is technically eligible, and if he does and he makes the chase would they change the rules next year to prevent this happening again, I think they would.

What the actual comment was trying to say is Nascar has this secret probation that is really no probation at all unless the sponsor goes along with it. My guess is Pennzoil does not want Joey Logano to sit out any races.

The government should allow for legal assisted suicide in every state. If someone wants to end their life they should have the right to do so. Not everyone has religious hangups and once you get over that fairy tale stuff you become a clear thinker and it is your life.
Wonder what would happen to our health care problems if folks that are done are allowed to end their life rather than being kept alive in some Alzheimer home as a vegetable?

Notice I used the work 'allow' not 'provide'.

Guns are just the quickest way, there should be alternatives. Regulating guns would be akin to trying to stop the wind, total waste of time.

Pretty funny if your correct (which you probably are) that Aarons would be upset about FedEx.

What is Aarons anyway? an outlet for cut rate products that most folks would never buy. This outfit just repackages unwanted furniture and out of date electronics to poor folk on a pay monthly basis, pay or we'll come take it away business model, no credit needed!

The conflict with FedEx is easy to see if your a sponsor, if your a normal person however the correlation is lost.

I disagree.
Sponsors do not own the sport, they have way too much control over everything. They are the reason the drivers have no opinions or even a personality anymore.

The sport has turned into one big commercial. Rouch racing with their 'Gong Show' even trains young drivers how to celebrate a win, yeah the teach them how to be happy. As a former racer myself (dirt bikes at a younger age) this sickens me.

Doesn't the amount of races you started have something to do with if you qualify or not?

What if Logano has 2 wins (a stretch but for the sake of argument lets say if did) and he started all 26 races leading to the chase, and Hamlin has 2 wins but only started 18 races.
Who gets the wild card spot?

Come on there is plenty of room for a school like BSU. I like watching them, not every school has to be a national powerhouse to play entertaining football.

Do they need to be taken seriously? I say no, just watch'em on Thursday/Friday nights and enjoy. The NC game is being ruined more every year from over hype.
