Keep the grin. No one smiles in b-ball anymore and it's sorely missed. Agree with the rest of ur statement...

He got outcheated by the Canadiens....
Posted Thursday March 15, 2012, About: La Russa to run Dodgers?
Sorry bud... NBA still runs a pretty distant 3 to Baseball and Football in America. Unless you watch ESPN of course, which will probably convince you that there is no other sport in this country....

We are blessed aren't we? Sun all yr round with maybe 3 months of sub 50 degree temps. Almost everyone in SoCal is about an hr away from snow and an hr away from the beach. Our girls are hot, some of them manufactured, and even better, materialistic, shallow, and easier to hit em and quit em.... When u get bored of life here, you just spend 4 hrs on the road (or 40 bucks to fly) and head up to Vegas.

I think the Ducks won after only 13 yrs in the league and much of those 13 yrs were loser yrs. There just wasn't enough time to develop a fan base, especially with the upper echelon population of Orange County (Rich people just don't care about sports that much unless it was sports that made them rich and even then...) Then again, who's to say that it would be different if the Ducks won this yr? Frankly, I hate em and would love to see them get wiped off the face of hockey...
Posted Wednesday April 13, 2011, About: Yet another Lakers concern: Chicken pox
Kobe was so off last night... Their defense looked terrible too. It feels like they aren't really trying or they just don't care. I don't see this carrying into playoffs, but if it does, Lakers aren't moving out of the first round...
Posted Wednesday April 13, 2011, About: Yet another Lakers concern: Chicken pox
Yeah, it's been documented, but how rare is that???
Posted Wednesday April 13, 2011, About: Yet another Lakers concern: Chicken pox
Easy, ladies.... It's easy to jump on the bandwagon and freak out here, especially when you've just listened to 25 different "experts" damn the Lakers and their playoff hopes. We don't even know if this is a major injury yet. Watching Bynum walk off last night, it seems that it's not. Let's see what comes from the MRI...
Posted Tuesday April 12, 2011, About: Tortorella admits lie to media
AGREED! So sick of the stupidest question(s) in the world being asked! The main one I hate the most is "How do you feel..." "You just lost your country's only hope at a medal with that game - how do you feel right now?"

Thanks!
Posted Monday April 11, 2011, About: Weight: Officiating bias against Isles exists
I know it's an unpopular opinion here, but we all are getting 3 - 6 different views on things that happen in a game, from overhead views to behind the glass views, in slow motion. The ref has one view (two with a two referee system) and it's on the ice in full speed. Can in-game bias be created by captains and coaches and players complaining and yapping, etc? Sure. But every team gets it just as bad as the next team, just happens in different games.
Posted Friday April 08, 2011, About: Pirates teammates wanted Bonds plunked
Of course it's an opinion. How do you prove someone a liar? The only person who can do that would be that particular person recanting his tale. Basically, it's my extremely logical non-biased opinion based on the entire body of evidence that has been presented in media and court. I either think Bonds is the dumbest guy in the world (because a smart athlete would not allow vials and injections and not question the changes in his game/body) or I think he is a smart guy who has done nothing but blatantly lie to try to protect his name and legacy, knowing what I am sure many people in this world already know... If you don't admit it, then they have to prove it.

I don't disagree with the govt never had a case thing. With Anderson and a lot of what the defense took off the table, there isn't much evidence left at all. But there is a picture there and in order to see it, you have to look between the evidence presented. That just doesn't work for good ol lady justice...

But the racial accusations just doesn't belong here.... Mark McGuire was never in the hunt for the HR record...didn't even make it past 600.
Posted Friday April 08, 2011, About: Pirates teammates wanted Bonds plunked
Yet another reason to hate Bonds. Had he told the truth, such a case never would have taken place and money could have been spent on some other pathetic excuse of government spending.
Posted Friday April 08, 2011, About: Pirates teammates wanted Bonds plunked
I second that... I hope these people can simply read between the lines here with that massive smokescreen that got sent up by Bobblehead's defense...
Posted Friday April 08, 2011, About: Pirates teammates wanted Bonds plunked
Bonds never denied using steroids. Everyone knows he has been using steroids. He only denied that he knew that he was using.

If anyone really has a doubt in their mind that Bonds knowingly used, they only need look to his trainer, Anderson, who put himself in jail rather than testify. If everything was on the up and up, there's absolutely no reason not to testify here.
Posted Friday April 08, 2011, About: Jackson nearly quit last July
Lest we all forget, the team that Jackson took over in '05 had just gone 34-48. The same team was turned around immediately to head to playoffs and lose to Phoenix in Game 7. 2007 Lakers barely finished over .500 and were wiped from the floor by the Suns in 1st round of playoffs.
Whether he is a great manager or coach, whichever term you prefer, Jackson has done nothing but prove himself out there for 20+ years. The only questions that should remain are - Would Michael Jordan have 6 rings if Phil Jackson was not his coach? and Would Kobe Bryant have 5 rings (and hunting 6) if Phil Jackson was not his coach? If you can honestly answer Yes to both of those questions, you're just a hater...
Posted Thursday April 07, 2011, About: Zetterberg out at least until playoffs
The rule is there mainly for safety. The last thing the league needs is someone kicking at the puck, losing balance and then slicing someone open with a skate...
Posted Monday April 04, 2011, About: Who wants to stay in Florida?
SI's front page comments states Florida Panthers to clean house... Think they might be about a month or 2 late, as Panthers already gave away the farm at the trade deadline....
Posted Monday April 04, 2011, About: Who wants to stay in Florida?
Is there really an important thread that would pertain to the Carolina Panthers? If it pertains to the Carolina Panthers, would it really be dubbed important? Burning questions....
Posted Monday April 04, 2011, About: Foote may have played his final game
Agreed. I don't know the story behind it, but I am thinking that something happened behind the scenes that the public doesn't know about? This guy has always been a gamer and quitting in the midst of a playoff just doesn't sound right...
