Taken directly from ESPN.com. People who assume the same crap as all the rest and then pass judgement on other people should not be allowed to talk about sports. Read an article and then talk. The Devils will continue to grow. And to the guy who said the only big players we lost were Gionta and Madden how about Clemmensen who was huge for us when Marty was out. And last but not least how about Rupp who could throw down with any of the biggest fighters in the league. Who's going to do that now? Clarkson? I love the guy but he couldn't take on a heavyweight.

hey 50year I thought you knew football. Cause if you did you would know that Johnson works the field and when they get within the 5 yard line that's when LenDale comes in. So that might be a good reason as to why his average is so low? As far as commitment problems, I'm sure that he showed a hell of a lot of commitment when he has his carries cut by 100 and NEVER EVER MOANED OR GROANED to the media about some rookie taking his spot. In fact whenever Johnson ran for a large gain or scored a TD White was the first to congratulate the guy. He was a team player the whole time. Grow up dude, our so negative about so many threads on here and it's getting to be a little much. Watch a Titans game and maybe you would see what I'm talking about and you'll respect the guy that much more.

For a guy who has so many posts I would think that you actually paid attention to sports. If you did you would have read that, ESPN was wrong about his score and he basically scored a 50%. Not a high mark by any standards but it's people like you that ride with whatever the media gives you. I bet your still convinced that BJ Raji is a pot smoking hippy. Read and you will learn many things. The wonderlic was incorrect just as the suicide threats. The TEAM psych not PERSONAL psych was worried and called Jeff Fisher. I think what happened here is that some buddies were bragging that maybe they were in the NFL and took the girl back to Rhodes house. Had a gang bang and slept it off. Then when she woke in the morning and found out she was just some trick and these guys were only friends of Rhodes and not actually in the NFL she decided "I'm pressing charges for you guys lying to me....one way or another I'm getting paid." I wouldn't exactly say he was mediocre as a QB. I mean yes his TD to INT ratio wasn't amazing but he was a game changer and defenses had to be completely re-tuned in order to stop him. I mean he ran for a 1000 yards as a QB and still threw for over 2000. Didn't he take his team to an NFC championship in only his second "true" year of football as he was out the entire year before with a broken fibula. He has paid his debt and still has some football to play. However I don't know why we are really discussing this when we still have the high sheriff in Goodall who will bring that hammer down hard for Vick making him look like an idiot. As far as making it out to look like Vick has killed humans your just grasping at straws at this point. Portis admitted how easy it was to attend a dog fight where he grew up. "There was always at least 2 or 3 right around any corner." You have to remember that while many people think this is wrong and it truely is, that some area's completely accept this kind of shenanigans. We'll see what becomes of Vick but I think he has paid his debt and we need to move on.

Both Cujo and Kolzig are free agents. so they aren't a factor. Leaving Toskala who Burke doesn't like and Ron Wilson pushed out of San Jose. I see him either being released or traded. Thus leaving Gerber and Pogge. Burke hasn't been very candid about how he feels about Pogge. This being said he had no future in Toronto. This move would make perfect sense for the Leafs or the Red Wings. However I cannot get by how small this guy looks in net. I mean he looks like he's 112 pounds soaking wet. And he wheres a HUGE jersey to boot. Just looks silly.

I'm a HUGE Devils fan dude. and yes I have seen Newark. and trust me....Hamilton is worse the Newark. When I drive through Hamilton I hate my life. It's terrible and if they ever got a team the Devils surroundings would look dramatically better.
